"Ten naira! Three fishes!"
A young boy chants as he walks around the market. His forehead is decorated with beads of sweat, his dress is also not spared from this. His skin is red in colour from the scorching sun. His yellow shirt and blue shorts are filled with holes which tell the story of years of suffering.
"Ten naira! Three fishes!" Occasionally, some women passing by the market stop him to buy some fishes. After some hours He takes a short rest on a mango tree before he continues.
"Ten naira! Three fishes!" He falls to the ground after tripping on a stone. Fishes are scattered everywhere. His yellow shirt is now soaked with a crimson red liquid. He had fallen on a sharp metal which was placed beside a mechanic's shop. He coughs out blood as he tries to ask for help.
Before people would be able to save him he'll die. Another able youth has been stolen. The tale of the young man selling fishes would be forgotten.
