3 weeks later...

"Stop recording me." I giggled covering my face.

"Na na keep going don't be nervous Malia." Lamar said.

I nodded my head and got in my zone and started rapping my first full song but this was just the acapella of it. I was feeling my self I just got my hair,nails,and eyebrows threaded, I got out my shyness and did what I love most .

Lately I've been hanging out with nothing but guys. Tae and his homies are always around when me and Lamar link up. It's fun as hell hanging with hood dudes though all we do is go to gas station ,roll up,eat,and listen to loud ass music riding in cars in foreign I couldn't even name right now. I clicked so well with them but I heard everyone been talking about me non stop,im not letting it get to me.

I hit my last note and looked down and started laughing, I couldn't believe how good I sounded. The song I recorded in the studio was my favorite. I was rapping and singing ,lamar really pushed my vocals out all those nights in the studio .

"You did good as hell,I swear you've done this before." He said as I picked up.

"It is Lamar,lemme get my stuff on." I said remembering I had work.

"Aw shit I almost forgot and I got you right after I do this." I heard Lamar say .

I picked up our food plates and walked into the kitchen to throw it in trash. Lamar moved into his apartment across town and sometimes I just come here to chill with him after we leave the studio or be out. I slid on my sandals and followed him out.

"Bye dude so irriating." I said pulling down my sundress.

"Ight bet Malia." He said after I shut the door.

I walked up to my house and searched around for my keys .

"Look who we have here." I heard Sei say.

I sighed staring at them coming out of Key's house.

"Everybody been telling us you been riding with the Crew thinking you the shit. You just forgot about us huh?" Sei said.

"We suppose to be your girls Malia,what happened it's like me and sei are only bestfriends now." Key added.

" Ya'll are my girls it's just I don't like how it seem like yall just don't give a fuck about me. Both of yall made me feel like im a third wheel and we swore to each other we would never do that." I said putting my hand on my hip.

"Yous a lie we never made you feel like that. Okay sorry Malia, for leaving at the party so long ago it will never happen again it was so long ago. Look if you don't want to be and Sei friend then walk away and never speak to us again. We don't like this fake ass shit you doing you acting funny as fuck." Key went on.

"You know what? Okay." I said walking pass them walking to my house.

"So that's it? Our friendship is just over." Sei said looking at me.

"Guess so." I said unlocking my door walking in the house .

I wish things could go back how it use too but they just come up to me and try to talk that fly shit then think I'm suppose to be cool with it . Every time I needed them they wasn't there , they didn't care about me or my goals couldn't even get any support. Maybe we will be friends again or maybe this was the best to just leave them alone .

I checked my phone and seen my coworker texted me .

I replied back to her and decided I'll just chill. Nobody was home so I just took a hot shower and took a nap after wards .

Few hours later ...

"Malia ...Malia get up." I heard my brother shake me.

"What !" I groaned out putting the cover over my face .

"Your phone has been blowing up all day and it's already tomorrow you shouldn't sleep so long." He told me .

"What ?" I said sitting up .

"It's 9 in the morning." He said walking out my room.

I blinked open my eyes for a few seconds and seen how many notifications I had .

"What the actual fuck." I said unlocking my phone .

I went on Facebook and pressed on a video and seen it was me from yesterday when I was with Lamar. He posted it. I refresh the page it's had 300k views, 4.5k shares,900 comments . My heart sped up as I read through the comments .

"Holy fucking shit, I think I just went viral." I said out loud .

My hands started shaking as I went to Lamar name, I was so excited . I seen he already been texting me telling me to get up . Soon as I was about to text him back he FaceTime me .

"Lamar I can't believe you posted that." I said smiling .

"I wanted the world to see the talent I seen you but I didn't know it was gonna blow like that you know how many doors will open up for you . This shit is blowing my mind ." He said .

"Yours?! I cannot believe this like what should we do." I said panicking looking at all my friend request.

"Just give them what they want . You mind if I come get you?" He asked .

"Yeah ." I said in a daze.

"Alright I'll be in there in 30." He said .

I dropped my phone and screamed in my pillow . This cannot be real .
