"When you gonna come chill with a nigga at my crib." My new friend said pulling up infront of my aunts house .

"When you drop all your hoes you too sneaky Davon." I rolled my eyes checking my makeup .

"You playing Ayana you know I only want to—

"Oop no don't even start lying . I gotta lot of homework to do so text me when you get home." I said grabbing my book bag.

"You didn't even let me finished but I got you though I'm still taking you on that date like I promised on Saturday." He said as I opened the door.

"Mhm you stood me up last time." I said rolling my eyes .

"I know my bad my bad I had a emergency but come here." He said pulling me closer for a kiss.

I pecked his lips twice and hurried up and got out the car . I didn't want Malia seeing me getting out some dudes car she warned me about these niggas around here. I walked up the steps to the door and let myself in. I smiled thinking about Davon , i met him  2 months ago and be with him almost everyday ,  a girl from school invited me to a party and that's where I met him. I thought he had a girlfriend or something but he talked to me first and we been close ever since he's my little secret .

The only thing about him is he secretive with everything . I can only see him at certain times , he raps with a group he won't even tell me it's called , his full name is Davontae but he won't let me call him Tae he would flip if I said it , I guess sensitive about it so I called him Davon. He makes me feel so beautiful everyday and really just gets me and he is soooooooo fine . Light skin, pink plumb lips, tattoos , even his voice make my screen crawl . I know Sei and my cousin always talked about some Tae guy that did rude shit to my cousin but I never seen him before only they have and the dude I mess with name is Davontae two different people .

The house was quiet and empty , Malia got a purchase on a house so we been packing a lot and should be getting a uhaul. I walked in the room and seen Malia in the bed .

I stopped talking when I seen she was crying , I put my stuff down and ran to her side .

"What's wrong boo." I said rubbing her back .

She sat up and started wiping my face.

"Ayana I tried so hard." She said faintly trying to wipe her tears .

"I know you do what happened ? Talk to me." I said seeing how hurt she looked .

"I gave my momma the money 3 days ago to go put the down payment down on the house because I was too busy and I went there to show Malik and sign the papers and she said they didn't get the deposit so she never paid them . Malik said he haven't seen her in those 3 days either he thought she was at work and I meant to text you if you have so I called her job and—

She stopped and paused I let her take her time .

"The manger said she called and said she won the lottery and quit her job but she didn't Ayana. she stole that money and got back on crack. She just came here saying someone was after her and wigged out. We started arguing and she started crying she was sorry for spending it and sorry she couldn't be a mother for us and left ." She cried harder.

I pulled her closer to me and let her sob and told her I was here . I looked on the floor and seen Malia phone was cracked and most likely broken, I know how she gets when she mad. I knew how she felt her and my momma is the same and both druggies but I thought Auntie changed .
