Hetty's POV

Today is the day the queen is coming to see us I don't really care. The only thing I care about is Mathias like someone is getting adopted. I now that there is 300 or more foundlings in the hospital and that means that there is a slim chance of me or Mathias getting picked but there still is a chance. I am just going to go with my Normal day and hope that she does not pick me or Mathias.

Mathias POV

I am nervous for today but I now that there is a very slim chance of me or Hetty getting picked. I don't want her to leave I love her and she loves me and if one of us left than the other will be heart broken.

Harriet POV

I want to get adopted by the queen so Mathias can see what he is missing out on. Like if he really loved me last year he would have waited but no he started dating Hetty and now she get to kiss him and I don't and she gets told how much he loves her and I just sit here having to listen to them be all lovey Dovey I am going to make sure I get adopted and then he will have to date me.

Hetty's POV
I am cleaning the floor when matron tells all to go down to the staircase and stand at the sides and look smart. I do as she says even though I am confused I don't want to get into trouble today so I am going to keep my mouth shut and just do as I'm told.

I walk down to the side of the staircase and I see the boys it was nice to see Mathias as always and I just love seeing his handsome face.

Soldiers walk in and then the queen comes walking down the hallway. We all stand smart and I just stare at Mathias and forget about the queen. She comes up the staircase and gets greeted my matron and mr cramborn. Matron asks her if she want to have a tour. The queen accept's the offer and they go. Nurse winterson tells us to head back to work. I head back and stare at Mathias until i can't see him
