A/N-WARNING. There is abuse in this chapter. 

I haven't gone to school all week. I couldn't face Gabi, or Micheal. Both have text me. Micheal's knocked on the window. Gabi beat down my door until my brother told her she had to go. My parents left last night, and my brother is loading up his truck. I look around my room empty. Except for my bed and my dresser. Everything else has been packed up. Taking a deep breath I walk down the stairs and out the door. Just as I step out then door I see my brother holding back an Irritated crying Gabi. I stop right in my tracks as Gabi's eyes meet mine. My breath hitched in my throat. Gabi pushes my brother and walks over to me, she puts her hands in thee pockets of her sweatshirt. "What the hell is going on Blu?" she asked me.

"I'm leaving."I told her

She looks up at me,"you can't be serious..."she say's in shock.She starts to cry and she walks away.I yearn to run after her and tell her things will be okay. But the fresh hickey on her neck told me to let her go. Once she is out of my sight I hear a door open and close in the distance. I look up to see my mom and dad step out of the car. My brother lets out mumbled cruses, I take steps backwards as my dad looks at the packed car, then he turns and looks at me.My dads face turns red and I see him take a step in my direction. My dad has never done anything in public. Always behind closed doors. My dad started to advance towards me. I started to panic. My brother steps in front of my dad and tells him to let him explain. My dad tosses him aside. My brother lands on the ground and his head smacks on the sidewalk. My dad keeps his eyes locked on me. I look to my mother who stands there looking uninterested in what is going on. When I finally look back at my dad he's standing in front of me. He shoots his hand out and slaps me a crossed my face. I stumble back and then he grabs me by the throat.

He yells, "YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME YOU LITTLE STUPID BITCH! YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING! YOU'RE FUCKING CRAZY! YOU HAVE NO SAY!" 

I claw at his hand gasping for air. He punches me in the gut and again in the face. I feel tears and blood run down my face. He finally drops me. And when I think its over I look up and his foot smashes into my temple.  

"STOP STOP DON'T DO THAT GET AWAY FROM HER NOW!" I look up through the red from the blood and the blurriness from the blow, I see Micheal running towards my father. I lay my head down on the grass. My eyes focus on Micheal as he takes a leap off the the ground and tackles my father to the ground. My father swings at Micheal and it connects with his temple. Micheal falls to the side and I see my dad get up and spit on the ground beside Micheal. 

Then he says, " Micheal boy, you are a fool, why would you fall for her?" he shook his head and sighed," she's nothing, she's crazy."

Micheal sits up and looks over at me.I try to sit up but I fail. I hear my father chuckle," You mean you didn't know?My daughter is crazy, she has to take medication for it. she's nuts, you don't want her. And frankly you don't need her." With that my father went inside, my brother got up off the ground and came over picked me up and lead me to the car. I stopped to give Micheal a hug.

"Thank you.." I held onto his tightly. And with that I was gone. I promised him I would call, And he promised me my dad would be behind bars so I could come back.

The car ride was silent. And not the good kind. Familiar streets fade into streets I have never seen before. After about an hour and a half of driving we pull into the driveway of a house. I raise an eye brow. "I thought we were buying an apartment?" I asked my brother.

He shook his head no." My buddy Alex said we could live with him. he lives alone since his girl moved out." I nodded my head still confused why we didn't just get an apartment. I see a tall man with a huge smile on his face step out of the house, And wave at my brother. My brother steps out of the car and approaches Alex. Alex is tall with brown spiky hair. He is kinda buff but not like super buff. If anything he is just skinny. I look at my brother who is focused on the conversation he is having. My brother says something and Alex looks to me and his smile fades. he turns so I can't see his face and he continues to talk to my brother. I sigh and step out of the car. I close the door behind me and My brother looks up and says, " Alex this is my sister Blu. Blu this is Alex." 

Alex stuck out his hand, I took it shook his hand then let my hand fall back to my side. " Hey Blu," he cleared his throat, " I'm sorry you had to go through that but it's over now. we won't let anything happen to you." I sucked in a breath, and nodded my head, and mumbled a thanks. We stood there awkwardly for a moment before he said, "Well let's get your stuff and I'll take you to your room." 

I grabbed my suit case from the back of the car and followed Alex inside. He lead me up some stairs and took me into a room. He set down the bags he held. " you have a bath room to the right." he pointed to a door. " then you have the bed if you need sheets let me know." I told him I had some. He nodded and said, " I put the dresser in here so you have a place to put whatever you need to you also have the closet, all yours." I nodded and said thank you. He left and I began to unpack my stuff and put them in drawers and hang them up. I put my stuff in the bath room and made a list of what I needed to go get once my brother was done unpacking.I remember passing a little store up the road. I made my bed, and sat down on the edge. Once I thought I heard my brother come in I went down stairs to see him sitting at the island talking to Alex. They don't notice me at first so I cleared my throat and my brother snaps his head up. 

"uh I need to go to the store so I was wondering if I could borrow the truck." 

My brother nodded and tossed me the keys, " do you need any money?"

"Nope I got some." 

My brother got up and gave me a tight hug and a a kiss on the head," be careful will ya?"

"Promise." 

And with that I went outside shutting the door behind me. I climb into the truck and and put the key into the ignition. Started the truck and backed out.
