Midnight Kiss

Chapter 4

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH"

I shoot up grabbing my head and covering my ears.

"What the hell!" I hear Camryn yell

I try and focus my eyes, and do just in time to see pillows flying.

"WHY WERE YOU CUDDLING ME?!" Camryn yelled

"What the hell is going on?" I ask

"What did you do now Patrick?" I heard a deep voice to my left ask.

That's when I noticed, i was sitting up with arms on the side of me. Those muscled arms belonged to no other than Thomas. The guy I'd only just met last night...correction the werewolf guy I'd possibly mated with and only just met last night...was already in my bed.

"PUH-LEASE" Camryn said being dramatic, "tell me we did not mate with each other and these sparks I feel are from anger or static electricity!" She finished shouting

"CAMRYN!" I said in shock. We weren't supposed to let them know we know they exist.

"Shit" she mumbled against Patrick who pinned her down to keep her from hitting him.

"Okay I need to know what you girls know. And now." Thomas demanded

"I dont know what you mean" I said trying to look innocent and clueless.

"Come on Aza, last night you called me wolfie, Camryn told Patrick to take his dog ass home, and now Camryn is asking if they mated. How and what do you know about us?" He pleaded with his dark brown eyes. I just wanted to fall in and live there forever. I felt compelled to tell him and was just about to when Camryn stopped me.

"We can't tell you anything." Camryn said. "If you want answers then we need to go talk to your elders and our council members" she said.

"Wait how do you...?" I trailed off. These girls kept surprising me more and more.

"No more questions. Get dressed. Call a meeting with your elders. Tell them the Northern council needs to meet with them...a peaceful meeting. Make sure to emphasize its peaceful...and that its being called by two girls." I told Thomas.

"When, where?" He asked.

"Soon." I said thinking, "here put your number in my phone. I'll text you or call when I get more information from our council. I assume they'll want to meet on the netural territory. Your elders should know what that means."

I wanted to tell him everything so much, but knew I couldn't.

"You'll have answers soon. Once your pack wants you to know" I said hugging him to calm him down. "Now go. This needs to be solved sooner than later." I told him going to leave.

He didn't let go.

"Can I kiss you?" He whispered

I wanted to say yes, but I knew with every kiss it would just get harder.
"I don't think we should. Let's get answers first before we go any further." God it killed me saying that. He looked so hurt and sad.

"Ugh stop it!" Camryn said dragging me out of the room.

Thomas

"Dude. We're such a cliche" Patrick said laughing.

I bust out laughing with him.

"You're right. Alpha and beta mate with two best friends, but theres a twist and the love must be fought for" I said.

We both just laughed for a few seconds letting go of the stress that had piled on in just a matter of hours.

"DOGS GET DOWN HERE AND GET YOUR WOLF ASSES HOME!" We heard Camryn yell.

I just looked at Patrick and raised my eye brow.

"Why moon goddess? Why?" He said dramatically looking up at the ceiling

"Is it bad that I totally already love her though? A woman in control and bossy actually gets me hot" he said

"Ah dude!" I said throwing a pillow at him getting off the bed laughing. "I never thought I'd see the day when you had feelings. But no that's how mating works. I love Aza already too."

"We better get down there before she rips our heads off" Patrick said as we heard Camryn holler again.

"Off to see the wolf elders. Always a good time" I said.

"So where is your car?" Aza asked me once we were outside.

"Its that sweet truck over there" Patrick said trying to impress Camryn.

"Oh of course you drive one of those stupid F-S10 jacked up lift kit I date my cousin and drink beer while chewing tobacco, things" Camryn huffed

Patrick lookes visibly hurt for a moment then caught himself and did his typical defense mechanism of smarting back.

"First off thats not even a thing. You crossed like 2 different vehicles together. I don't chew. And youre the one who drank so much she passed out not me. So you have no room to say shit." He replied

"Ugh whatever" Camryn said

"Be nice they've done nothing to us." Aza whispered to her, thinking we couldn't hear.

"No i don't want to be nice.  I wanna turn them into the dogs they really are" she said back

"Come on Cami. You know we can't do spells in front of them" Aza said in such a low whisper if I didn't have super hearing I wouldn't have heard it.

"Did she say they can't do spells in front of us?" Patrick mind linked me asking.

"Yep. I feel like we're about to get our worlds turned upside down with these two."
