Her Savior (Donny Pangilinan)

Third Person's POV

Dinner came at nagpunta si Donny sa restaurant na nasa loob lang din ng resort para kumain. Papasok pa lang siya ng resto ay bumungad kaagad sa kanya ang nag-vvlog na babae habang naghihintay ng pagkain. It was Harper, the girl he met earlier.

"I'm currently waiting for my order and I'm so excited. Three days na ako dito at I can say na superb talaga ang dishes nila!" Harper exclaimed as she talked to her camera. Donny smiled and walked towards Harper's table. Naaalala ni Donny ang kapatid niyang si Hannah dahil madalas din itong mag vlog lalo na kapag sama sama silang kumakain sa labas.

"Hey, Harper. You're alone?" Donny approached her. Napalingon naman sa kanya si Harper. "Uy, it's you again. Dom.. Do.. Don.. ano na nga ulit yung name mo?" She asked then scratched her nape.
Donny chuckled. "Donny," he answered.

"Ayun, Donny. Sorry ha, I'm bad at names." She said. "And yes, I'm alone. Upo ka oh," pag-aya niya.

Naupo naman si Donny sa harap ni Harper.
"And this is my new friend. He's Donny. Hey, mag hi ka naman." Sabi ni Harper at iniharap kay Donny iyong camera.

Donny smiled and waved at the camera. "Hi, Harper's vlog." He simply said.

"Life is so fun especially when you gain new friends talaga. Fist bump!" Harper said at nakipag fist bump siya kay Donny.

"Definitely," Donny said. Hindi niya alam kung bakit pero kahit kakakilala niya pa lang kay Harper ay kumportable na siya rito. "Alam mo, if my sister was here, sigurado magcclick kayo as friends." He added. Kinuha niya yung menu book at saka siya umorder ng pagkain niya.

Harper turned her camera off. "Really? Sayang naman. Di mo ba siya kasama?" She asked.

Donny shook his head. "Di eh, I'm alone." He said.

"Why are you alone? I mean, karamihan at halos lahat dito ay mga magkakabarkada or kung hindi naman, magkakapamilya. Why did you go alone?"
Harper asked. She was curious dahil gusto niyang malaman kung bakit kagaya niya ay pinili ni Donny na mapag-isa.

Donny remained silent for a couple of seconds at naalala niya iyong sinabi sa kanya ni Iris.

Let's empty our minds and find ourselves.

"I want to find myself that's why I went here alone." He answered.

Harper arched her brow, "You're getting lost in this place in order to find yourself? Nice ha." She commented.

"Well.. I just really needed a break from life. And this place is perfect for that. Peaceful dito, e."
Donny said. "Eh ikaw? Why are you alone?" He asked Harper.

Harper gave him a smile. "Pagod ako. Gusto ko magrelax, kaya nandito ako." She simply answered.
"Tsaka.. gusto ko mangolekta ng memories. I'm living my life to the fullest." She said, still smiling.

Donny stared at her and he noticed something. Though Harper was smiling, he can see through her eyes that she's sad.

"Hey.." he mumbled. Napansin niya rin ang mga scars sa bandang pulso ni Harper. "Do you cut yourself?" He asked her.

Harper looked surprised by his sudden question. Napatingin siya sa mga naghilom na sugat sa palapulsuhan niya. "Ah, ito? Oo. I tried it before." She calmly said.

"Why though?" Tanong ni Donny habang nakakunot ang noo.

"Sabi ko nga diba.. pagod ako. Kaya ko ginawa ito."

"You're a sad soul, Harper." He muttered. "I don't know what you're going through but I wanna tell you that there's more to life. You got this, Harper." He reminded her.

Ngumiti lang si Harper sa kanya. "Thank you. It's been awhile since someone cared enough." She said.

Maya maya pa ay dumating na ang mga order ni Harper at kasabay lang nito iyong kay Donny.

"Enjoy your meal, ma'am and sir." Sabi nung isa sa crew ng resto.

"Let's eat," Donny said. Napakunot naman ang noo niya nang makita niyang nakatitig lang si Harper sa pagkain niya habang malalim din ang bawat paghinga nito. "Hey, Harper. You alright?" He asked.

Harper blinked several times. Nanginginig ang mga kamay niya nang subukan niyang abutin ang kubyertos na nasa ibabaw ng lamesa nila. Lalong nagtaka at nag-alala si Donny dahil sa inaasta nito. Inilagay ni Harper ang kutsara sa kaliwang kamay at ang tinidor naman sa kanan. Her hands were still shaking at nagmistulang pinaglalaruan niya lang ang hipon sa pagkain niya dahil paulit ulit niya lang itong tinutusok.

"I-I'll help you with that." Donny said and helped Harper with her food. "There," he said at ibinigay niya ang kutsara sa kanang kamay ni Harper at sa kaliwa ang tinidor, kabaliktaran ng ginawa ni Harper kanina.

Harper took a deep breath, she seemed like she was trying to calm herself. "S-salamat. I just.. I spaced out." She said.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

Nag thumbs up naman sa kanya si Harper.

"Y-yes. No worries."
