Chapter 3: Your Hired

Dipper's POV

As we went inside, we saw The same old Shack, Melody as the cashier and Soos as the manger. Our room is still there except it was clean and spacious.

The attractions are still fake and some are real. Soos also add the pictures of us when we were 12 as the 'greatest attraction' as Soos called it. The Shack runs better with Soos than Grunkle Stan before.

Soos is rich like the Northwest before. Speaking of the Northwest, I don't know what happened to them after Weirdmageddon. At least Pacifica lives her life what she wanted. Not being controlled by her parents. She changed big time. Despite having interest to her after the Ghost incident, I saw her good, soft side that leads us to Mabel who read my complement to Pacifica about her smell that was crossed out then that day she read it, she started shipping us and spreading it to Candy and Grenda even the INTERNET! Should have ripped that page before Mabel read the crossed out sentence.

Speaking of the Journal, where did they go after we threw it at the Bottomless Pit? They replaced the old vending machine to a new vending machine special gold edition.

I punched the codes and it still opened. I went down to Ford's study room. It was full of Bill stuff before in there so Mabel suggest to burn it. Now, it is now a room where Ford and Stan sleep and also do stuff.

I went down where the portal is but instead, I found some machines that where plastered around this room. I also saw a room filled with adventure stuff on left with a 'Stan' sign plastered and at the right are Ford's sciency stuff and things. When I walked where the portal was, I instead saw a safe and saw Grunkle Stan and Ford sleeping leaning on the safe. They suddenly smell my car perfume which I sprayed to my body then they woke up. "Huh? Dipper?" Grunkle Stan said. "Dipper?!" Grunkle Ford said waking up instantly.

They woke up and saw me, then they ran and hugged me. I hugged them back. They released after

"How's going on slick?" Grunkle Stan asks. "Oh you know, the same." I replied. "My boy, you became taller. Puberty just hit you." Grunkle Ford said. "Yeah and the squeaky voice was remove and added a muscular tone to your voice." Grunkle Stan said then we laughed.

"So, the bus driver didn't bothered the pig?" Grunkle Ford asked. "No. We took my car." I replied. "You have a car?" Grunkle Stan asked. "Yah, I mean it is a old crappy car anyways." I said

"What happened to the StanlyMobil?" I asked. "Oh, I sell that crap. The buyer believed that there's a Supercharged LS in it." Grunkle Stan joked. The typical old Stan.

Hmmm...What is an LS and supercharged? "Hey Grunkle Stan, what is a LS and supercharged?" I asked. Their mouths drop as they heard it. I just left a one eyebrow up. "You...you have a car and you don't know what is LS and Supercharged is?!" They both said. I just nod. " You know what, let's forget about it. Can we look at the car?" Stan asked. "Yeah Sure!" I said then we went up.

When we went out the Shack near my car, I throw the keys to Grunkle Stan.

Stan's POV

I checked the interior. It was just a normal interior. Then I checked the suspension. Their stock! I checked the engine, well basically, it is a stock 4A-GE. This car is basically stock everything. But will it perform good? I need to try this.

"Dipper, can we take the car for a spin?" I asked. "Yeah sure Grunkle Stan." He said then he went to the passenger seat and I sat on the driver seat.

We drove to Twin Peaks Mountain where I usually drift with my WRX. "Uh, Grunkle Stan, why are we here?" He asked. "Oh, just checking something." I said then I pushed the throttle down.

Then there's a corner. "Uh, Grunkle Stan, why are you not braking?" He asked with a little worried on his face. I ignored him. As we hit the corner, I heel and toe downshift then turned the wheel to the left then quickly countersteered. Dipper was yelling like a baby holding on. "AHHHHHHHH!!" He shouted.

The drift was flawless and this is a stock vehicle. We went down and drove to the Shack while Dipper was panting. We went out then I had the sticker on my hand.

"Your hired." I said as I gave the sticker to him. He raised an eyebrow. He look at the sticker saying. 'Mystery Shack Tofu and Water Delivery.' He asked, "Grunkle Stan, what's this?" He asked. "You hired. Starting after your practice, you will deliver the tofu to the hotels at the top of the Twin Peaks mountain. You will receive a big payment of course." I said.

"Umm, OK." He said.
