Their arms were irresistible, but not in the way David's lips were to her. Their growling voices were frightening, but not in the way a horror film was funny and entertaining. Their threats were not empty like the hollow jokes that the RS threw around in their free time. Their grip was too tight and way too uncomfortable, not even comparable to the hugs that the RS would exchange. Not comparable to when David hugged her, kissed her. They covered her eyes and pinched her nose so her main sense receptors could not and would not be of any use to her. She struggled, she tried to scream, but they just gripped her harder. Soon enough, they were at the lair that she knew all too well. The lair that would bring memories that led to David's meltdowns

This could mean war.
...
As soon as they had her in the soundproof room, they did not hesitate to ask her about everything that she knew. They cleaned out her brain from top to bottom about what she knew about vampires, the RS, and all of their allies.

"How much do the RS value you?" His hair was blond, his eyes were deep red, and he was a muscular man. He had a red nose and unforgiving eyes, thin lips, and a beard that had just grown beyond stubble. Even though he was short, he was quite domineering, and Lora didn't like him. She didn't like anybody here, obviously.

"They know that I'm loyal to them." Her voice was quiet, her face was unscathed. There had been virtually no damage done to her. Yet.

"I know there's more in there," Blond Hair smirked an evil smirk. Lora didn't enjoy it, but her mouth stayed shut.

"C'mon, woman, speak."

"I'm not sure what kind of information that you want out of me. If you were more specific, perhaps I could supply you with the exact information that you want."

"Perhaps you could, smartass."

One of her eyebrows cocked up. Blond Hair rolled his eyes, and two vampires came out from behind her and held her forearms down to the table.

"Fine. You're probably right. What qualities or traits do you possess that the RS values? If there are any that correlate with others, don't list those." He paused. "Actually, do. I know a truth from a lie and withheld information, whether the rest is a truth or a lie. Remember that."

Somehow his claim didn't sound true. She thought she'd heard otherwise in another situation far too long ago for her to remember, but she couldn't focus on that right now. All she was focused on was not giving out good information.

"So...?"

She cleared her throat. There were two vampires holding her arms down to the metal table, and one had already attached a chain to her that she could probably snap with a flick of the ankle it was tied around.

"I can run fast. Faster than I should be able to." She paused.

"And..."

"I-I-My mind correlates with David's."

He seemed to process that for a little while.

"In what way?"

"Er... we-we can communicate with each other without talking out loud. It is uncontrollable, but most of the time, we focus on the real world."

"Good. And I'm sure there is one more." His left eyebrow was slightly raised.

She nodded and flexed her muscles under the two vampires.

"I'm creative."

He nodded. "I believe you."

Her eyes were solemn as she returned his gaze. His eyes were pleased, but fiery with the joy of finally having caught her all the same.

"Now, I have just one more question." He held the equivalent number of fingers up and leant in towards her, his face uncomfortably close to hers.

"How much do you really mean to your David?"

Lora felt a low growl start to bubble up in her chest, and she felt the guards holding her arms down tighten their grasp.

"Hmm." Oliver leant out. "Please answer the question. English would be the preferred language too."

She took a deep breath. "We're happily married."

He glanced at her ring finger on her left hand. The silver band was there. He smirked.

"I think I'm aware." He gestures to the guards and they let her up. She breaks the chain with her ankle and shakes herself free of them. Oliver was standing at the door, so that exit was eliminated. After half a second of long calculation, she walks to the seat with its back to the wall and sits down.

"Chains," Oliver says. "Then leave. I think she's holding something back."
