"That's incredible," James finished his glass of beer and Charles smiled sombrely.

"I'm glad you two are together again. But is there anything else that we can update you with, Lora?"

She shrugged.

"Oh!" James smiled. "I have a boyfriend."

Lora squealed. "Yay! What's his name?"

"Charlie."

Lora's eyes widened. "Wait, what?"

Charles smiled nonchalantly. "Different Charlie."

"Oh..." she grinned. "Yeah I didn't think that Charles was gay."

Charles smiled secretively, and bit his lip. "Yeah I'm not gay."

Lora's eyes widened again. "It is you, isn't it?" Her cheeks flushed and she grinned.

"Yeah. I'm pansexual."

"Okay. Anything else important that I missed?"

The three of them looked at each other, and Charles gave a small box to David. It looked oddly familiar to Lora. It was too big to be a ring box, but to small to be anything bigger than a necklace. Her hand flew up to her ear.

Sure enough, the earring cuff from her initiation process was gone. David gave the box to her and she opened it up again. Sure enough, it was the intricate gold earring cuff.

"Let's do it like before," she whispered, and led them all to the bathroom. And as she clipped it on to her ear, and felt it magnetically attach, she smiled, and turned to David, Charles, and James. The familiar feeling of the earring had brought emotion and colour to her memories. She saw in more detail, more colour and more ambiance. As she hugged the three of them, she felt good. It felt right. She felt a deep emotional bond between her and David, and she also felt a strong, yet undiscovered emotional bond between James and Charles. But there was also a tie between all four of them that could not be broken. A tie hat would hold hem together for a long time to come, and she felt something deep within her click.

She felt at home over more, and she hoped she would never lose that ever again.
