This was a writing prompt and I thought why not do a Captain America story. Its not that good and I'm sorry I did this in two days.

You have been completely colour blind your entire life and only see in shades of grey. You come across a stranger that appears in total colour.

I Don't Own Captain America he is a character from Marvel

I hopped into the cab and told the driver "same place" before he started to drive down the busy road.

It's always the same thing every single day. The same cab, same driver, same outfit, same job, same home and the same plain grey.

My whole life has been in grey, sometimes lighter sometimes darker but it's still just grey.

I never told anyone about it, not even my parents know but out of the 23 years I've been alive it wasn't till last year that someone found out. Out of everyone it could be it was my boss that figured it out and he did it all by himself.

"You know, with the amount of time you spend at your job I'd think you'd have an expensive car by now yet you still take a rundown cab to work every day." The driver stated.

He's a nice old man but I can tell that he misses his kids a lot, they never visit him anymore.

"It would be nice to have a car but I can't get my licence," I say while staring at the passing grey buildings.

"Whys that?" he asks, stopping at the traffic lights.

"Medical problems," I say, looking up at the traffic lights.

Where what is supposed to be a red light is just a dark grey spot before a lighter grey appears bellow it singling the driver he could go. He then continued driving without another word.

Once the cab had come to a stop outside a large building of glass I hand some money over to the driver while thanking him and quickly hop out of the car.

I look up at the building and see STARK in Giant letters.

Leave it to him to put his name on the front of a building. I will never get used to that.

I walk in and wave at the reception lady. As she waves back I get my key card out and walk up to the staff elevator. I enter the elevator and press the 37th-floor button before the doors close and we continue up.

Time skip

I'm halfway through placing the folders at every seat for the meeting that was due in 4-hours when Tony Stark stagers in.

"Big night was it?" I say while putting my hand onto my waist and leaning onto one foot.

"Yeah, yeah I know." He says while waving it off before hending over to the desk and pulling out a chair to lay back.

"What's the time anyway? 7? 8?" Stark says as he rubs a hand over his face before messaging his temples.

"It's 12 actually but nice guess," I say while placing the last folder where it was supposed to be.

As I told him the time he jumped up and went running towards the door while loudly saying "Shiiiittttt!"

"Mr Stark!" I yell before he reaches the door.

He then turns to face me as I walk towards him.

"Your meeting has been postponed for this afternoon and tomorrow," I say as I shake my head.

He really needs to stop drinking so much.

"Ok that's great and all but Cap was due back an hour ago," he says while running his hand over his face again.
