PROLOGUE

The spotlight focused at Jungkook who knelt on his one knee before you, a box of an elegant ring in his hand. Despite of the darkness, you still could feel the stares especially Jungkook's.

Your heart was thumping so loud that it was making you feel deaf because of the silence.

"Will you marry me?" He asked, his eyes showing his pure sincerity.

You giggled, wiping the silent tears away from your blushing cheeks.

"So... you let me give my ring to Eunha so that you could replace it with that?" You asked with pure stupidity knowing that he would surely answer a yes.

He nodded. "So will you let me do the honour to put this ring to your finger and... be my wife?"

You smiled. "That's not even a question, babe. Of course I will." You answered making him smile widely. "I will marry you."

He finally slipped the elegant ring to your finger which has fit perfectly. Standing up, he pulled you for a tight hug as the attendees then gave an applause, the lights turning on one by one.

"So I guess this is all planned again." You mumbled by his ears.

He giggled, caressing your back. "Yes, baby. Sorry for making you worried."

"You should be." You pouted, pushing him away softly to face you as the banging sounds from the garden continued. "So what are those sounds? Hm?" You asked, tilting your head.

"Those are just fireworks, babe."

You almost jumped from your position when a bang got louder.

"You think that's still a firecracker?" You questioned Jungkook who's eyes were widening.

"I think not." He uttered blinking. "Stay here, okay?" He said but you didn't let go of his hand.

"No. How about you? You might get hurt--"

He hushed you by placing his thumb against your lips softly, his other hand resting on your shoulder.

"I don't mind getting hurt if it's only for the sake of your safety." He uttered, removing his thumb away from your lips.

"But--"

"I'll protect you till my last breath." He added and kissed your forehead before dashing out to the garden.

Just then, another loud bang echoed in your ears.

Your eyes jolted open as you bolted upright in your bed. Your hands tugged on your hair frustratedly.

"What was that dream?" You muttered to yourself exhaling. "That's not gonna happen. Never. It's only a dream, Y/N. It's only a dream." You encouraged yourself as you massaged your head.

Calming yourself, you looked at your hand, relieved to see your ring still in your finger.

A/N: Left yall hanging again XD lol. Well I'm surprised myself I've published it this early. Because of the attention that the Book 1 is gaining, I've got a lot of motivation for doing this aside of Phantasm. Lol. So yeah, I think I'm going to work on two fics now.
