"W-what?" Jungkook stammered, chuckling awkwardly as he shook his head.

He crouched before you and cupped your wet cheeks.

"Babe--" He breathed out. "You're just drunk, okay? Don't say things like this."

You shook your head, dropping it low.

"I'm-- I'm sobber." You grinned, scoffing. "I know what I am saying."

Jungkook sighed, running his hand along his hair frustratedly. "You're obviously not. Let's just talk again tomorrow, okay?" He uttered as he tried to get a clearer view of your face.

"Babe? Baby?" He tapped your cheeks softly. He chuckled. "See? You fell asleep in my hands. Let's go home now."

He took a peck on your forehead which lasted for good seconds first before he carried you bridal style to put you back in his car. He then went back by the beach to pick up the trashes and dispose it.

Once he got back in the car, he first watched you on your worst state. Your head was resting by the door, your hair messy, your cheeks blushing and dry from tears.

Jungkook sighed, seeing your pain as you sleep. He leaned in to put a neck pillow on you so you could sleep comfortably. He took a closer look of your face.

It was full of hatred. Full of agony. It seemed to reflect as to what your heart was feeling.

As if your hearts were connected, Jungkook felt the pain.

His hand then went to your cheeks to carress it as a single tear fell down from his eyes.

'I think we should cancel the wedding.' It replayed in his mind over and over again.

"Don't ever say things like that again." He sighed. "You don't know how afraid I felt when you vomitted those words to me." He spoke as his sight got blurry because of his tears.

"I don't know what I can do if I ever lose you too." He smiled shortly. "So don't ever take me out of the frame again, okay? We'll get through this." A last drop of tear fell down as he kissed your forehead tenderly.

You woke up the next with the news of Jimin getting discharged from the hospital already. But you felt bad that you didn't even get to visit him once. However, you felt a bit of relief knowing that he's fine now.

It was also the last day of your father's funeral and your Mom decided not to let go of the ashes on the river, instead, she wanted to keep his jar of ashes in their room.

It kind of surprised you to see how fast your Mom was moving on through pain, unlike you who's still stucked in your worst state. Without your knowing, she has prepared for that day to come ever since she knew that her husband could die soon.

She has prepared physically, mentally, especially emotionally. Not just for the sake of herself or for your father to rest in peace but for the sake of you. She was trying to stay strong for the very last reason to live her life, and that was you.

The sun was about to set when you got a phone call from Namjoon, telling you to come to the headquarters urgently. Unhesitantly, you drove away from home to get to your co-agents.

You went in a room where Namjoon told you to go to. Pushing yourself inside, you first noticed the simple all-gray motif of the room. It was small, enough to fill a long table in the middle of the room with ten seats, and a white board posted on the gray wall.
