Good Morning.. Empty bed?

Elena's POV

I look around to try and remember where I was then remembering the last 24 hours, I ended up in a guest bedroom because I wasn't comfy enough to be in Stefan's bed with him or Damon's because of Stefan being back. Then my next thought is to look behind me where Damon was no longer, I'd almost thought maybe I dream't of last night but then I seen the shirt he had slung off on the floor last night before we went to bed.

Then I hear a few knocks at the door making me jump

"Room service!" shouted from the voice I didn't want it to be, I was dreading to have a full conversation with Stefan.

" Come in," I shout back as I shove Damon's shirt under the bed.

"Good Morning, Elena, I have breakfast cooking downstairs. I just wanted to come up and check up on you," Stefan said.

"Morning, I uh I'll be down after a shower, and I'm just y'Know I guess a little confused over everything," I sighed out. I didn't really wanna be around Stefan right now, which was the most confusing part ever.

"Morning Elena, breakfast is on the stove," Damon scoffed acting as if he did the kind gesture to make it for me.

"Morning Damon, thanks for breakfast Stefan," I smirked.

" So Elena, how about you get you some breakfast and bring it into the parlor and I'll call Care and Tyler over and we can discuss things, Yeah?" Stefan asked as Damon's eyes diverted to mine waiting for me to answer.

" Yeah that's fine, I think maybe we should call Ric and Bon over and Jeremy and Damon's already here so family meeting in session," I said as I smiled. 

"Yeah, Stefan, why not? Sounds like a great plan," Damon said in a snarky tone as if Stefan must have pissed him off or just made him jealous.

"Sure brother," Stefan said.

"Okay, So its set. Stefan you can call Tyler, I'll call Bonnie and Care, and Damon you can call Ric and have him bring Jer along," I said.

I honestly wasn't ready for them to come over, not ready for the reactions. But also because I hadn't seen Ric and Jer in over a year, I'd feel much better if I could talk to Damon about it but Stefan would hear and don't want to upset Stefan because he wouldn't be my choice person to talk to about it I just can't it's just too hard to right now. I'm still upset with how things went with Klaus and him dying, it was all so hard to deal with and Damon was the only one who didn't leave at the time.

"Oh yea, afterwards I'm gonna stop by my apartment and pack up my stuff besides furniture and then put it for sale," I sighed, seeing as I'll probably never live in it again.

"Okay, want me to come along?" Stefan asked as Damon walked out of the room to go call Ric. That was the last thing that I wanted was him to come along,  "No, I should be alright, I shouldn't be long. I don't have that much to do, no worries," I reassured.

"Okay, uh Elena?" Stefan sighed, "Can we talk later after you get back?" 

I knew that would have came up soon and I was dreading it, "Um, yea.. Sure," I smiled 

I jumped a little as the front door opened.

"Don't worry, It's just me," Jeremy said.  

"Jer!" I excited as I pulled him into a hug. A few minutes later Ric, Care, Tyler, and Bonnie walked in and sat down.

"So what is it you wanted to talk about?" Care asked Stefan.

"Well Bonnie knows the whole story, so she could tell you the whole witchy juju to it, but basically she figured out a spell to bring me back from the other side and Katherine decided to tag along, as you all know for some reason Katherine has ties to Kyle who has been trying to kill Elena for certain reasons," He paused and sighed for a minute and then continued looking at me, "Do you want to tell them Elena, or do you want me to?"

"I can do it, I know this is gonna be a complete shock to everyone at first well besides Bonnie because she's already known and knows the Juju behind it. But, surprisingly in miracle since me and Stefan are both vampire, I'm pregnant," I explained, "I'll let Bonnie explain the rest," I sighed as Stefan squeezed my thigh to try and calm me.

"Well obviously I did a spell to bring Stefan back because I knew Elena was gonna be pregnant with his baby, they conceived it before he died, but after he died the witches on the other side didn't want Elena to handle this on her own so the baby was transferred to Caroline. Well, we all knew how Elena wanted to be human one day and have a family, but she wasn't gonna be able to get that anymore. And I knew if I brought Stefan back the baby would transfer back, I know it was selfish and terrible to take something special from you Care and I'm sorry. It was just there and it was a one in a million chance since she's a vampire and you can procreate whenever. But for some reason we believe Katherine has sent Kyle to make sure Elena doesn't have the baby so we need to stop this. I think I have an idea why Katherine wants Kyle to take Elena though." Bonnie finally finished and walked over to Care to comfort her sobbing from what she was told.

"I'm.. I'm nooot mad Boon..nnie, I understand. Elena really honestly deserves this," She said trying not to sob.

"Sorry not to interrupt this sad Bon Care moment makeup thingy, But what exact reason do you think that bitch would want Elena and the baby?" Damon asked.

"Well, just think how obsessed she is with Stefan.." Bonnie stated.

"Oh.. She wants a magical Stefan transfer baby so he would have to talk to her and Elena would be out of the picture too, yeah I'm not letting that happen. Kyle won't be getting anywhere near Elena and either will Katherine," Damon said in a spiteful tone, the jealousy was burning in Stefan because Damon was so protective over me, it was all over his face.

I decided to speak up, "Don't worry, we'll worry about the tomorrow. I feel maybe we need a day off from this kind of stuff in memorial for Care, its been a big loss for her. And from this moment on I've decided Care to be the babies god mother and I'm sorry Tyler but the god father will be Damon," I looked over to a surprised Damon and a oblivious Tyler.

"Thanks Elena, It means so much to me," Caroline sniffed.

"No problem Care, I owe it to you," I sighed.

"Alright well, I think we've all been caught up, we should all probably meet up sometime tomorrow to make a plan," Stefan said as everyone was getting up to leave, I glanced over to where Damon was sitting to see that his seat was empty, he must have left.

"well Stefan, I'm gonna head to my apartment. I should be back after a little bit, I'll just pick up some dinner and then we can talk like you asked," I said pulling him into a hug feeling as if I felt I owed him a hug, even through all the awkward weird feelings of him being back I knew I still had love for him.

"Okay Lena, see you in a bit," He said smiling back surprised he'd gotten a hug.

Sorry if the chapter seems short I just thought it would be a good place to end so I could leave her in the apartment as a next good scene
