Chapter 15-Is this a thing?

Levy POV

"Erza don't you think that was a bit harsh?" Lucy asks Erza, who looks scared she might have said something wrong.

"He is rebel and you've got to be careful around them" Erza says looking right at me. I don't she has to worry for a while, yet again I don't even know what's going to happen between us.

"Lucy, are you going to be skipping class today?" I ask her to change the subject. She gets caught off guard and begins to blush.

"I don't skip, I have got things to do" She says in a not so confident voice.

"Do i have to warn someone for you too?" Erza says sternly looking at Lucy which makes me giggle.

"Nononononono its nothing like that" Her face goes as dark as Erza's hair and her voice get incredibly high pitched. She is hiding something.

"Sure, sure Lucy but you should know better than to keep things from us" I say and I feel a sligh smirk spend across my face.

"Oh wait hang on what's the time?" Lucy asks almost panicked.

I pull my phone from my pocket and look at the lite screen. " Eight forty-five" I say and then Lucy is gone and already half way down the corridors.

"I gotta do something, ill see you later" She yells back at us.

"I'm surprised she hasn't gotten caught by her father" Erza says with a disapointed look to her.

"Well I guess she is just sneaky about it" I say and we both start heading to our classes.

Natsu POV

Lucy is always late when I tell her to meet me somewhere. I don't mind though because I know she will always come eventually.

I don't know what's between me and Luce. We could be dating or we could be really close friends but its hard to tell and I don't wanna jump to conclusions either.

"Natsu, sorry I'm late" I hear Lucy call to me from behind.

"Took you long enough" I say laughing at her. When she reaches me she embraces me in a hug and I return it.

"Shall we go?" She asks smiling to me. "Where are we going this time Mr Dragneel?"

"Just a place" I say. It is great spending time with Luce. She is really bubbly and a good person to talk to.

"Well aren't you a bundle of information" She says laughing. I ruffle her hair and I get a slap on the hand. She hates it when I do that but I find her cute when she is annoyed.

We walk and talk for a little while longer then we find ourselves sitting against a big oak tree. Luce sits with her legs resting over mine and her head leaning back on the tree. She looks like one of them really expensive porcelain dolls.

The thoughts keep going though my head though. What is between us? I could ask her, its not like I haven't done worse than ask a simple question.

"Hey Luce. Question" I say waiting for her to respond. She makes eye contact with me and smiles.

"Yeah, what's up" I get caught up in her eyes, she really is gorgeous. She waves her hand infront of my eyes and I'm brought back to Earth. "What is it Natsu?"

"Oh sorry.....um I've been wondering for a while now....." I don't finish my sentence. I can't say it. The words won't come out of my mouth, no matter how much I try.

"You've been wondering about what?" Lucy says getting curious now. She is leaning forward and her eyes are bright and full of curiosity. Its now or never, I need to say something.

"Is there anything between us" Luce is caught off guard and is silent for a good minute before responding.

"Wh-what do you mean by that?" I can't tell her emotions anymore. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything.

"I mean are we friends or more then that?" I really need to shut up, I'm probably only making this worse. I'm such an idiot.

A soft and warm sensation against my lips. The feeling is familiar. Luce and I are caught in a kiss again. This time we don't need time to relax, its like we have done many times before and know what we are doing.

She pulled away gently and looked up towards my eyes with a blush on her face. "What do you think?"

I smile towards her. "Ill take that as just friends." I say change chuckling to myself. She stares at me with a shocked look. "I'm kidding.....I'm not that dense"

"Idiot" Lucy says laughing at me. I then get an idea. I pull a pocket knife from my pant pocket.

"Whoo hang on.....what are you doing?" Staring at the knife, she has a worried look on her face.

"Just hang on. Its probably not what you think" Reassuring her, she relaxes a little. I begin to carve somethings into the tree and I hide it so Lucy can't see what I'm doing.

When I'm finished I move away from the tree and let her have a look.

"N D & L H 4eva" She reads to herself. She smiles and launches herself towards me.

"Thank you Natsu......I love you" She whispers in my ear as she hugs me tightly.

"I love you too"
