Chapter 19- Hate

Lucy POV

I wake up to a bright sunny day. The birds are chirping and and the sky is blue. I lay there getting lost in thoughts and staring out my window.

I slowly sit up and then go take a shower and get dressed. While I'm putting up my hair I remember that I'm going to be hanging out with Natsu again today.

Its already have way through the first holidays of the year and so far me and Natsu have spent every day of it together. We were made for each other, well that's what I think atleast. I haven't seen anyone else all holidays though, they must be really busy or something.

Pancakes are for breakfast this morning, I can smell them from my bedroom. I head down to the kitchen to see one of our many maids cooking breakfast.

"Ohayo" I sweetly say to the maid. She must be new because I don't remember ever seeing her. Her hair is a brown with blonde streaks through it and her face seems soft and young.

"Ohayo princess Lucy" She says smiling back at me. She must be new because I have gotten the other maids uses to just calling me Lucy but I don't say anything about it.

A plate of fresh and delicious looking pancakes is placed infront of me. They are topped with butter, sugar and lemon juice. My favourite. "Arigatou......."

"Luna, call me Luna"

"Well thank you Luna" She smiles to me and bows her head. Luna then leaves the room.

Bzzt Bzzt Bzzt

I feel my phone vibrate in the pocket of my black jeans. Grabbing it from my pocket I then look to see a text from Levy.

To: Lucy

Hey are you doing anything? We haven't hung out in a while and I was thinking we could catch up.

From: Levy

To: Levy

I'm hanging out with Natsu again today but you can tag along if you want, you could even maybe bring Gajeel.

From: Lucy

That's a good idea actually. Since I don't know Gajeel very well and I haven't hung out with Levy in a while that would be killing two birds with one stone.

To: Lucy

Well I was thinking that it could be just us or you me and the girls.

From: Levy

To: Levy

Sorry but I promised Natsu.

From: Lucy

To: Lucy

How long is this going to go on for? I haven't seen you since you announced natsu and you were dating. The other girls miss you too. But I guess your boyfriend is more important than our friendship.

From: Levy

How could Levy being saying this to me? She was one of the first people to become my friend at Fairy High. This is ridiculous, if this is how she is going to act then I guess she isn't worth my time.

To: Levy

Well I'm sorry for being in a healthy relationship. I guess since this is the way you are going to act then our friendship is over.

From: Lucy

To: Lucy

Well maybe its best this way.

From: Levy

Tears start to form in the corner of my eyes. Why am I crying? She isn't worth it anymore. What's the point of a friend that won't support you? I could take those words back if I wanted to.....no, no more.

Ding Dong

That must be Natsu. I grab my Jacket that is hung over the back of my chair and run to the front door. "Hey" He says smiling at me.

"Hey" I respond, happy to be in his presence. We hug eachother and hurry off. This is way better than a horrible friendship.
