The sunshine peaks through my blinds waking me up, Caleb's name fresh on my mind. I smile checking my phone to make sure it actually happened, instead I find twenty-three unread text messages from Gracie.

  4:30pm 9/12

G: Where the Hell are you?

  4:45pm 9/12

  G: Did Caleb kill you?

  5:00pm 9/12

G: Seriously Alice, where are you?

  5:30pm 9/12

G: I called your mom and she said she hasn't seen you all day.

  6:30pm 9/12

G: ALICE!!! YOU ARE LEAVING ME TO WATCH THE WALKING DEAD ALL BY MYSELF! I SWARE IF YOU DON'T SHOW UP IN AN HOUR AND A HALF I AM WATCHING IT WITHOUT YOU!

  7:00pm 9/12

G: Sorry for my little flip out earlier... But, you seem to have fallen off the face of the Earth so excuse me if I am not a tad upset!

  8:00pm 9/12

G: That's it, I am watching it without you.

  8:15pm 9/12

G: Nevermind... It scared me :'( I will wait for you. #GracieDoesn'tLikeZombies

  8:30pm 9/12

G: Your mom said she heard from you... Said you were catching a movie. But I wanna see a movie, I sware to God if you are seeing Percy Jackson without me!

  8:45pm 9/12

G: I am going to go cry over the fact that Percy Jackson doesn't and that I can't be Annabeth... Excuse me while I die.

  9:30pm 9/12

G: Isn't you fricking movie over yet? Seriously!

  9:31pm 9/12

G: It is past my bedtime!

G: Please text me. I am dying over here.

  G: ALICE :'(

G: Do you even love me anymore?

G: Well I guess not then...

  G: Hurtful.

G: Who are you at the movie with?

G: How in this world are they more important then me?

  G: I hate you.

G: I am going to sleep.

G: Don't expect me to be very happy at school, I am not getting a full 12 hours of sleep for you.

  G: Goodnight.

I jump out of bed and brush my teeth, puting on contacts, and reluctantly throwing on clothes. Thinking about how extremely defiant it is to wish I could stay in my pajamas all day. It takes me what feels like forever, but I finally settle on a pair of high waisted jean shorts and a striped, black and white, long sleeved shirt. I throw my hair into a pony tail, smoothing it with my brush and taking a straightening iron to the back, just enough to make it look like I actually tried.
