I was blind
Everything you said I believed
Oblivious to other outcomes
I was apart of you
So attached to you
Drawn to you
Until I pried my eyes open
I started squinting now
Slowly uncovering small issues
I started to become cautious
But still wrapped around your finger
My eyes then opened fully
I couldn't help but to fall to my knees in disbelief
I felt used
Numb
And broken
What made me so blind?

The urge of fulfilling true love
