Everest stared lifelessly at the pool, and the dark and shady sky. Drenched wet, Everest was sitting on her metal pool chair, with her wet yellow last splash t-shirt, and a grumpy face. Why? Just why? Why did the day have to end with this. It was raining so hard that the pool umbrella Everest was sitting under seemed extremely flimsy. "Everest, Hey, hey Everest!" A loud whisper shouted in her ear. Everest flinched, and looked sideways. It was Jake.
Rubbing the ear she was just rubbing she answered, "what do you want?" Jake whispered again, but Everest made sure her ear was well prepared, and protected. "We're leaving!" He said. Everest was now very very confused, "okay. Your leaving? So cool." She grumbled. Jake didn't wait for a reply. He yanked her out of her seat and pulled her to the exit of the community pool. Everest tried to pull back, but miserably failed. "What do you want!?" She hissed. Jake growled, "I told you we are leaving." His grip tightened and Everest was pulled to a car. The door opened. It was Addi, Cheyenne, Konnor, and Noah. "What?" Everest asked confused. "Hurry up Everest! Let's go! We've been waiting." Addi shouted, pulling Everest into the car. Now everything was out of her hands.

•Car ride•
The Car ride was perfectly fine. Outside was foggy, and it was still uncontrollably raining. "Flooding." Noah said gruffly. The rest of them nodded their stiff heads. Everest had later picked up some information. Apparently, the signal for all the phones was cut off, flooding was starting, and off Noah's Mother hadn't decided she had to take them to their house, they would've been forced to stay at the pool. So basically, now they were heading to Noah's house, just for a small amount of time.

Hopefully. Not too long.. Hopefully.
