Hey Guys,

Sorry for not updating in 2 weeks, school has gotten the best of me. I tried my hardest to finsh this one off, its a bit boring. Any songs played in the chapters I will have at the end! Any comments on mistakes or ideas leave below.

I sincerly apologize for the un-edited version being up for a few days. It was hard to finish off this chapter, I kind of expirienced a writer's block. I'm working on editing, the main problem being dialogue. I'm editing currently:) When two dots ** appear above a paragraph, play the song listed. I think you'll all like the song choices.

Anyway, enjoy.

Moving day was upon me faster than expected.

The past week had been my farewell to my friends. I could’t seem to find reality while saying goodbye, it all seemed like a dream. I would wake up and everything would be fine. I would wake up soon.

I had to.

—————————

“Im leaving soon.” I blankly stated, my eyes casting towards the ground. We walked in unison as Charlotte finally decided to speak up.

“Let’s just enjoy these moments we have then.” Her voice melancholy.

Kicking a rock, she took a look up to the sky. I decided to do the same, and we just stood there. For who knows how long. Sitting. Enjoying the quiet hour I had with my best friend. We didn’t know how long it would be until we could hold each other’s company again.

We found ourselves at the clearing that I emptied my tears at a few days back. Charlotte walked slowly to the center and lied down, I followed suit. I turned to her and she had tears in her eyes.

“I promised I wouldn’t cry.” She said, barely audible.

She turned away from me, staring off into the woods. I knew that my friend at that moment didn’t want to appear weak for me.

“That was a stupid promise. I’m too awesome not to cry for.” I smirked.

She laughed and turned back to me. Her eyes red, the irises a piercing emerald. Mascara was running down her face as tremors shook through her body. She kept smiling through her emotions though, as if to be strong for me. She took my hand and intertwined her fingers in mine.

“We’ll be friends forever. I promise.” She said as another tear ran down her face.

I noticed at that I had started to cry as well. Tears started to blur my vision, and I couldn’t contain them, as much as I wanted to. I checked my phone, and the time had read 5:00. It was time to leave.

“Char. I ha-have to go.” I chocked out.

She got up and dusted of her shorts. She looked at me with and empty expression, her face hollow and pale. She turned her head and started to walk away, expecting me to follow.

We were getting closer to my house by the minute, slowly trudging so we could spend as much time together as possible. We talked about texting, calling. Making sure we had time to talk to each other as each week passed. She told me she would keep me updated on everything that would happen, and I would as well. As our conversation died out, we approached my house. It was a frenzy. People everywhere, movers, trucks, Nadia and some friends. Charlie. He saw me and Charlotte and walked over to us.
