I decided to go to a book store near in the bus station before going home. I'm so extremely happy because I already got the chance to purchase the list of books that's I've been dying to have since last summer.
I entered the bookstore and directly walk in the hall of tall bookshelves.How i missed spending my time,walking and scanning different books around every corner
I glanced at my wristwatch and it's already 9 in the evening,I guess they'll be closing at exactly 10 pm so I have to be a little quick. I went to the customer service to ask for assistance
"Good evening, Could you help me complete my list?" I leaned over the pcounter to see the employee
"Hi darling, I apologize i cannot attend you right now, I have something important to do but don't worry I could tell you which alley is the book located if it's okay to you?" She smiled
"I understand. Thank you" I handed her my list then after a couple of minutes she gave back the list with the alley and bookshelf number already
"I'm sorry again darling. But don't worry you're not the only one who's finding these books" she winked before getting back to her work
I frowned, absorbing the word she had just said. Someone has the same list with mine? Is it a joke? But how could it be
Okay stop I'm exaggerating things again, I scolded myself
I followed what's written on the list,so far I already got 5 thick hardbound books, romance and inspirational to exact.Ill probably try to read some works of Nicholas Sparks that is located in the 3rd Alley in the Pocketbook section
Upon walking,I was busy thinking how much will these precious books will cost. As I continue walking in the isle I accidentally trip on the floor making me screech and fall to the ground with some
stranger?
I squeeze my eyes shut hoping I just fell over a box of books or a pile of books then suddenly
"So do you find comfortable slumping over me?"
My eyes widened after hearing his baritone voice and seeing that my body was over him. Oh my god I wanna die in embarrassment.
We're only a few inches away from each other. And we're so close to kiss
Kiss?!
I quickly stood up,fixing myself and getting the pile of books I've dropped in the floor but why everything went double?
"Why these books are the same?"
"Aren't they?" He chuckled and helped me pick up the books in the floor
Isn't the lady correct? I had the same list with somebody else
But how?
"Are you just gonna sit there and stare at nowhere until the shop closes?"
"Jeez!" I said as I stood up
"I wasn't informed that I had the same wishlist with someone else" he flashes a smile making my stomach run wild
"Uh huh" I murmured and walk away quickly
"Hey wait!" He yelled,following at me
I ignored him and continued walking.He keeps on calling my attention but I continue to ignore him until he is already in front of me so fast.
How?
He's actually pretty tall so I had to lift my face up to see his--holy cow! Tell me this isn't real. I almost stare at his unreal face for a minute.I hate to admit but he has a perfectly structure look. His ebony hair was ruffled in mess,his green eyes were locked into mine and God his jawline could cut my finger up.
"You really do like to stare don't you?" He smiled
"What are you talking about?" I snapped at him as I went back to reality
"You are staring at me for almost one minute"
"Let me get you straight stranger,First of all What do you want?"
"Nothing I just wanted to know you"
"It isn't necessary at all"
"It is. For me"
I felt a lump in my throat after. I don't know why but Seriously what is really happening to me?
"Has your mother ever told you to never talk to strangers?" I glared at him changing the topic
"Well hi I'm bill and you are?" he flashes a wide grin while extending his hand towards me
"Why you have to know my name?"
"Cause i told you mine?"
"And so?"
"I have to know yours to so you could consider and treat me as your friend not a stranger"
"You really want to know my name is?" I smirked
He nodded,smiling
"Well my name is none of your business" I said before walking away
