Alex's POV

Three weeks ago...

Beeping all I hear is beeping, rubbing my eyes I take a look around.

I'm in a hospital.

I look over and see my mom sitting in the far corner of my room asleep, trying to get her attention I take a sip of water and call out to her.

"Mom.." I croak. She doesn't move so I say it a little bit louder. "Mom.." Finally she hears me and instantly shoots up.

"Oh my god Alex.." She cries. "Your okay." She says before pulling me into a bone crushing hug. "I thought I lost you, I thought you were gone just like your sister." She sobs into my hospital gown.

"I'm so sorry mom, I didn't mean to, I promise you I won't leave." I cry as I hug her for a moment longer. She takes a seat next to me and wipes her tears. "How long have I been here mom?" I ask curiously.

"You can in last night, the doctor said since you had you seatbelt on that you only suffered minor injuries and have some cuts from when the windshield broke." She croaks, trying to hold back her tears.

"What about Princess?"

"Who?" My mom gives me a weird look.

"The girl that came in with me! Where is she?" I cry.

"Who is she Alex?" She looks at me weirdly.

"My girlfriend mom! The girl I fucking love!" I cry as I try to get out of bed.

"Alex what are you doing? And why didn't you say anything about this girl?" She questions.

"Mom just tell me where she is! And it's not like you took any time to listen anyway, your always locked up in your room!" I almost scream.

"I don't know where she is Alex but you can't go anywhere!"

"Watch me." I growl as I pull the heart machine along with me, exciting the door.

Ignoring my moms calls I walk up to one of the receptionist desks.

"Excuse me sir do you need help?" The lady asks.

"Yes do you know where Princ- I mean Laila Grey's room is?" I say as calmly as possible.

"Yes it's room 321 just down the hall, but I don't know if you should go in." She say and I instantly start walking towards her room ignoring the rest of her sentence.

Once I reach the room I open the door only to see Laila on the bed unconscious with tubes and monitors surrounding her. As I walk over to the bed I take a seat in a chair and grab her hands in mine.

There cold, really cold. This is all my fault.

"Hey Princess, I know your asleep right now but I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I should have made sure that you had your seatbelt on. It's all my fault. I just want you to know that I didn't let go, and I won't. Ever." I say and lay my head down in the bed beside her.

I slowly drift off into my thought and later sleep.

"Alex?" I hear a voice say and I lift my head and for the second time today I hear a heart monitor but this time there's two. I look over and I see Theo and Rosie standing at the door.
