Mia's POV

*Monday*

It was a cool winter's morning. The day seemed like any other day to me. I woke up around 5:30am to get ready for the day. I sighed softly and pushed the warm duvet cover from my shivering body. I walked to my on-suite bathroom to take a nice warm shower. I stepped into the steaming shower and washed my long blonde hair with apple scented shampoo. Once I was finished in the shower, I wrapped my body in my fluffy blue towel that sat on the railing next to the shower.

I grabbed a pair of white skinny jeans and a royal blue blouse, with a soft lilac pull-over jersey and a pair of black ballet pumps. I looked over at the clock on my wall which read, 6:00am, I walked over to my dressing table and picked up my hair brush and gently brushing out all the knots. I pulled my hair back into a pony-tail and applied a light amount of make-up to my slightly pale face before looking at my reflection happily.

I walked to the door, grabbing my phone and purse and left my small apartment. I walked down the familiar streets of New York, heading to the Starbucks a couple of blocks away from my apartment where I was going to meet some of my friends before heading to college.

I took out my ear-phones and plugged them into my phone and choosing a random song to listen to as I walked down the street. The familiar sound of the song, Stereo Love, blasted in my ears. I found my eyes closing as the song progressed. I smiled softly at a passing elderly couple. I looked down at my feet, as I walked the last couple steps.

I didn't notice that someone had stepped out in front of me. My body crashed into a wall. Yet instead of the wall being hard and cold, the wall was soft yet firm but also warm. Walls aren't supposed to be warm, are they? My body reacted as soon as it collided with the wall.

I closed my eyes waiting for the cold ground to collide with my body, but it never came, instead a pair of warm arms wrapped around my waist keeping me in place. Wait a minute, walls aren't supposed to have arms either!

I hesitantly looked up at the so-called wall. Once I noticed that this wall was a person I quickly said, "Oh, I'm so sorry...". My hazel eyes met a pair of sparkling brown eyes. We stood there, silently, my hands were now placed on his biceps and his arms still wrapped around my waist.

I couldn't help but stare into the stranger's beautiful eyes. We stood in each other's embrace for a couple more seconds, but I snapped back to reality when I heard someone calling my name.

"Mia! Mia!" I turned to face Nari, who was waving at me like a crazy person. I smiled softly before letting go of the man in front of me, "Thank you" I said once again. I stepped away from the beautiful stranger and sent him one final smile before quickly running toward Nari.
