The car ride lasted about 3 hours in total and finally at about 3:30pm we arrived at the venue. By then, there were a few people who had in fact arrived and were already getting to party the night away. I stepped out of the car, and leaned back stretching my arms.
I fanned myself with the paper fan, I had in my bag. It was incredibly hot there. My eyes glanced around the area, where this festival, that I was slowly wishing I didn't agree to go to, was being held. Most of the people there, were people in their late teens and early twenties.
There were a few people on the massive stage on the other side of the field, setting up the stage for someone to rehearse. I stood a bit further from the group. Nari, who stood out in front, had all our tickets in her hand, she then handed them to the massive security guard blocking the entrance.
She smiled kindly at him as he searched in a box for the lanyards and bracelets before handing them back to her. Once we had all been cleared by security we moved away from security. Nina stood next to me, and linked our arms together. She knew me so well, she smiled gently at me, basically saying, "You'll be okay, just stay here"
I smiled at her gently and walked beside her. I wasn't paying much attention to where I was walking or my surroundings, so I didn't notice her slipping away from me. I didn't even notice the masculine figure of a man running toward me.
It was only when my body met his, did I realize that he was in my way. I gasped softly as my foot slipped into a small hole in the ground. Pain shot up my leg from my ankle and I collapsed to the floor.
I gripped my ankle and looked up at the man that ran into me. He looked down at me and gasped softly before saying,
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry... Are you alright?" I was about to answer but someone beat me to it.
"Does she look alright to you, you fool?" it was Nina. Nina came to me and bent down next to me and looked at my ankle. The guy just stood there silently watching what was happening. He looked familiar. He was dressed in a black t-shirt and blue skinny jeans. He also wore a grey beanie over his hair. With a black mask covering his mouth.
I looked at him as he shyly tried to avoid my gaze, Nina next to me said, "Ok, Mia, you are going to have to stand up and we are going to have to go to the medical tent I think you've done something bad to it." I looked at her and whispered out, "Okay."
I tried to stand, but as soon as I put pressure on my ankle I gasped loudly and fell back to the floor. I was waiting for the hard ground to meet me, but it never came.
After a couple of seconds, I realized that it wasn't coming. So, I opened my once closed eyes and looked to the person who had caught me. Warm brown eyes started back at me. He was so close to my face. His arms had wrapped around my waist, steadying me.
Nina giggled a little as she watched the scene in front of her. The sound of someone loudly shouted someone's name awoke me from my trance. I looked around the area to see a guy with ginger hair and wearing shorts with an orange 'paranormal activity' shirt, shouting for someone.
The guy who was still holding me looked to this other guy as well. He sighed softly and pulled me up softly. I tried to apply a small amount of pressure to my ankle, but it was too painful. Nina came and wrapped her arm around my waist making the guy let go.
I felt, strangely, cold when his arms left my body. "Come, Mia. I'm going to take you to the medical tent." Nina said, and we started walking away from the guy, very slowly.
We weren't even 5 steps away from the guy, when the ginger haired guy appeared next to the brown-haired guy. He smiled gently at us.
I smiled through the pain and tried to take another step, but it failed miserably casing me to gasp slightly.
"Kook, the guys need you to come back now." The ginger haired guy said to the brown-haired guy. The brown-haired guy wasn't paying much attention to the ginger haired guy, he was still watching us.
"Hobi, I think we have to take her with us. I think she really hurt herself..." he said to the ginger haired guy. The ginger haired looked at me, struggling to stand, and then looked back at the brown-haired guy.
"Kook, what did you do?" he asked him. He was about to answer but Nina beat him to it saying, "He crashed into her, she slipped, and her foot slipped into a hole and she hurt it."
The ginger haired guy sighed and faced the brown-haired guy saying, "I guess you're right, I'm sure Jin will know what to do..."
He then turned to Nina and said, "Come with us, we can help you..." Nina looked at them for a couple of seconds but didn't answer, I sighed and softly said, "Nina, just go with them. I can't take much more this pain."
They all looked at me. I shyly looked away. Nina nodded her head and softly said, "Okay."
We started walking slowly, the ginger haired guy leading the way while the brown-haired guy stayed behind me. I had my arm wrapped around Nina's shoulder, I could tell that Nina was struggling to help me walk. I sighed softly and said, "Nina, if you're struggling then I can try and walk on my own..."
"No!" both Nina and the brown-haired guy said at the same time. She turned to face me and said, "I'm fine, Mia. Don't worry..."
"You're not fine. Let go and let me try, I'm sure I'll be fine." I removed my arm from her shoulder and she stopped walking. I took one step and felt the pain shoot up from my ankle once again.
Suddenly a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist from behind, steadying me just before I fell. I sighed softly when that familiar warmth filled my body.
"Go ahead, I'll help her." He said from behind me. Nina looked at us and nodded before walking to the ginger haired guy, who was looking back at us with a smirk on his face. I shrugged it off, it's probably just my imagination.
I carefully took a step forward, and with his help we managed to walk to wherever they were taking us.
