Chapter 1 Lana's POV

"The skin Lana is wearing, was designed to absorb enough meteor rock that you"ll never be able to go near her again." Lex said. "You're a coward Lex, " Clark told him angrily. " Come out here and face us! "

" No, Clark. It's time for you to face one of your defining moments." Lex said most likely enjoying himself. God, I hate that man with a passion. I knew that this might have happened. I knew that wearing this suit and having Clark near me could possibly kill him. At this moment the only thing I wanna do is kill Lex. "You could walk away, sacrificing the lives of innocent people together," Lex told us as though he knew his plan was going to work. "or defuse the bomb, sacrificing your love forever."

I felt like crying. Lex only ever thinks of himself, unless he's crushing someone else either emotionally, or physically. He's doing both to us. I turned and looked at Clark. " Clark." I said trying so hard not to cry. "You have to do it." he said. It took everything I had not to burst into tears. Of course he would say that. Of course he wants to save everyone's lives. I can't really be mad at him though. As much as it hurts to think about losing him again, I can't just let all these people die. Clark would never let that happen, and neither would I. We kissed saying goodbye to each other.

Then we heard the bomb shutting down. " What the hell is happening?!" Lex said at the top of his lungs. " How is my computer being hacked?!"

Clark's POV

Hacked? Who is doing this? Why? All of the Kryptonite is slowly draining out of the bomb, but how ? Lex obviously isn't doing it, so who is? I'll deal with that later, but now that the Kryptonite is almost completely gone, I have to destroy the bomb. "Clark, Lana! Are you alright?" I turned around to see Chloe. " Chloe what are you doing here?" Lana asked. I was just wondering the same thing. " I hacked into Lex's computer and shut down the bomb." Chloe said.

" You what?!" I yelled. " I couldn't let anything happen to you. I was able to get into Lex's computer, and I saw what he was doing. It took a minute, but I disabled the controls on the bomb and defused it. Lex was literally a click away from destroying half of Metropolis." Chloe said. " But what about- " I started but Chloe cut me off. " I cut off the camera so he's not watching us anymore."

I then remembered the tracker Chloe gave me, so that I could find Lex. I sped down to an alley where I found a truck just getting ready to leave but I stopped it. Lana was there in a second. " Clark," she said. " I have to stop him. He could be starting a new plan to destroy us. He could have another trick up his sleeve, Lana." I took a deep breath. " I have to kill him." Lana had then said, " No you don't Clark. You and I both have vowed to never take another person's life. There's always another way. Clark, if you do this, you will lose yourself. You will always regret what you had done to Lex, no matter what he has done to us." She's right. I have no idea what to do now.

All of sudden there was an explosion. At first I thought the Daily Planet really did explode. But no, the explosion happened right in front of me. The truck that Lex was in had exploded. How did this happen? How did I let another person's life slip through my fingers? Who did this?

Chapter 2

Lana's POV

"Clark, I know you're probably blaming yourself for Lex's death, but you had nothing to do with it." I told him. "No Lana, it is my fault. Another person has died because of me." Clark said. He always thinks that everything is his fault. He's only one man. He couldn't have known what was going to happen.
