WhenCheryl got home Cherylnput her hands into her pocket to get her phone out but realised a piece of paper in her pocket. It was crumpled up. got it out and unfolded it. It read
Hey, I'm Sal... the guy on impractical jokers. Ring me! Xxx
Cheryl smiled at this. Cheryl immediately got out my phone and dialled it. Cheryl cleared her phone as she cleared my throat. She didn't really know what to say. It suddenly went to voicemail so She decided to say
"Hey...Sal. It's Cheryl from the park. I got your note so call me back I guess. Bye"
That was awful! She hid away in embarrassment.
About 30 minutes later my phone rang. It came up as unknown and she knew exactly who it was... Sal. She decided to pick up after a few rings to not make me look desperate.
"Hey" She said.
"Hey Cheryl. It's Sal" Sal said.
"Oh hey" She said. She kept thinking I need to stop saying hey.
"What ya doing?" He asked.
"Not much. Watching tv. What about you?" She asked.
"Thinking of you" he said. She smiled to myself. He was so adorable.
"Aww. I thought I scared you off" Cheryl said with a laugh.
"How" he asked also laughing.
"With my awful voicemail" Cheryl replied.
"Well I was wondering wether you wanted to go on a date tomorrow night at 7. I'll pick you up?" He said. That was a whole lotta information at once!
"Definitely! I'll see you then" Cheryl said. He hung up afterwards. She also added him onto my phone then gave him a text
Cheryl: looking forward to tomorrow 😆
Sal: me too xx
Later that night, while I was in bed my phone rang again. It was from an unknown number.
"Um. Hello" She said confused who was calling.
"It's your ex" I heard a familiar voice say.
"James?" She asked.
"Well Murr" he said.
I was shocked he was ringing me. We went out for 3 years (before impractical jokers) and he is suddenly ringing me.
"What do you want?" She said.
"Well I saw you today and I was wondering if you wanted to chat?" He said.
"What! Why?" I asked.
"Because we need to clear things up and well... I wanna... need to talk to you!" He said.
"When?" She asked.
"6pm tomorrow." He said then hung up.
Why was he calling me!? Why did he need to meet up!? It's been like 7 years since we broke up!?
