I was sat at home with my best friend Becky.
"What have you been doing today?" Becky asked me.
"I went for a walk with this guy called Sal. He was gorgeous and so funny and I felt bad for him after he got dumped but I couldn't stop thinking about him!" I blurted out, totally unaware of what I was saying.
"Wow!" She said in shock. I haven't been in a real relationship in ages. I was quite a lonely person. I liked my own company no one else's. I barely talked to my family let alone other people. That was why she was so shocked as to why I felt this way.
"Ask him out" she told me.
"No way we are both friends but I want to be more" I told her.
"Ask her out" Q said to Sal.
"No way we are both friends but I want to be more" Sal replied.

A few minutes later I had a text from sal.
Sal: wanna grab a coffee?
Me: already getting ready xx

"I gotta go Becks" I told her.
"What! Where?" She asked.
"Me and Sal are going to get a coffee" I said leaving the house.
We met by the coffee shop. I was waiting in my long red coat with black leggings and black heeled boots. It was about 6pm and we have not long come off the phone. I was so excited but I knew I couldn't tell Sal I fancied him! We can only just be friends.

I saw Sal pull up in his car.
"Hey" he greeted me.
I was freezing as we walked into the cafe. Sal ordered me a cup of coffee as I got us a table. Sal put the coffees on the table and left the cafe. I was confused as to where he went but I silently sipped my coffee in hopes he would return. The bell on the door had dinged and I saw Sal coming in with his hands behind hi back. He stood in front of me with a grin and revealed a gorgeous bunch of fresh red roses.
"They are stunning!" I told him. I got up and gave him a massive hug. The hug probably lasted a lot longer than it should have but I didn't care. All I wanted to do was scream I LOVE YOU PLEASE DATE ME! But I had to act like a friend and not to let my feelings get in the way.
"I just wanted to get you something special" he said still hugging me.
After that I layer the roses on the table as me and Sal sat down. We talked for hours as the staff were  staring at us  smiling. We both non stopped laughing the whole time.
"I have to say Cheryl let someone special go" I told him sending him a warm smile.
"I think I've found someone more special" Sal said to me.
At 10pm we both decided to go home. I went to pay as the waitress sloped me a little note. I didn't have time to read it at the time as me and Sal were about to go home. Sal offered me a lift home and I accepted. He opened the passengers door and let me in. I sat there just staring at Sal as he walked to the other side of the car. I just couldn't understand how someone could be that adorable!
