UNNAMED BOOK

Chapter One

(This chapter may feel like it's going fast because it is. I was bored during class when I thought of this and wrote it down)

    "Alec! Get Up! Moms getting mad!" Norah tells me as she shakes me awake. "Lilith's not our Mom Norah. For all, I care she can go burn in hell. Even Doug hates her." I tell her. "Just get up and get dressed! It's the first day of our new school! I can't wait to meet new friends! I'm Going To--" I start getting up while she's rambling on.

    I walk downstairs and the first thing I hear is from Lilith. "Took you long enough Alec. Come and eat.". "I'll pass Lilith..." I told her as I start walking towards Doug. "Don't call her by her name. She gets mad... Now get to school." Doug whispers to me. I just nod at him. I take Norah by the wrist and walk her to her bus. She gives me a carrot while I'm saying, "Stay Safe at school. And here." I tell her as I hand her a small knife. "Don't show or tell anyone. You could get in trouble if you're teachers saw it. "Okay!" I watch her bus drive off before I start walking to school.

    As I start walking a Boy at least a grade below me runs up to me. "Hi! Are you the new kid? I'm Jacob! The Mr. Xenon wants be to help you around the school! Think of me as a friend or as a Butler!" He tells me. I slow down as I start thinking about what he said. "He said like a Butler... Maybe he knows who I am?" I think to myself. "I'm Alec. Yeah. I'm the new student." I tell him awkwardly. "Cool! Umm... I think I have your schedule in my Backpack. Let me check!" Jacob tells me as he stops. I stop with him so I don't get lost walking on my own. "Dammit. I think I left it at my house. Come with me. I wouldn't want you to get lost." "Exactly why I stopped the first time. I don't want to get lost."

    We start turning around to get to Jacob's place. As I start walking, I see a rabbit in the middle of the road with a car racing towards it. I quickly turn and jump towards the Rabbit and pick it up and run the other side of the road. Once I get to the other side of the road, I give the rabbit a carrot I got from Norah and put it back down on the ground. I run back across the street to get to Jacob. "I'm guessing you like animals?" He asks me as I start going at a walking pace again. "Huh?" "Well... You risked your life for that rabbit. You have to like animals or you just put yourself in senseless danger.". "I don't like animals. I just don't like seeing them get hurt. It pisses me off."

     "So this is your place? Seems... Trashy..." I tell him as we get to his place. "Yeah. We don't have a lot of money right now. Wait out here. I'll Get your Schedule."
