Chapter 9

Mark's POV:

I walked up to the house, surrounded by fall decorations and flowers. I saw someone making coffee through the window. "Alright guys, you sure you wanna do this?" I asked. They all nodded and smiled. I knickity knockity on the door, and he pops in the doorframe. "Mark!! Sean! Dan, Phil, holy shit its the whole gang!" He hugged us all. "The fuck are you nerds doing here?" He asked. "They told us about what they were focusing on at the last meeting. And that was uh.." Phil said. Dan slapped his shoulder. "WHAT PHIL MEANT. Was that.. we wanted to.. uh.." He studdered. "Something big is coming after Y/N." Jack said. Ethan backed up in shock. Everyone else backed up too. "WHAT?!" He yelled. "Ethan, calm down.." I started. "WHAT KIND OF FUCKING TROUBLE?!" He looked pale. "Ethan. I said calm down." I said. Dan held his neck, kind of putting him in a sleeper hold. Ethan started to close his eyes. Jack and I did a facepalm. "Well, that's one way to calm him down." Phil said. "The thing is, Y/N's home, shes gonna ask questions, and we have to carry him upstairs to his room WITHOUT her knowing we're here." I yelled. Everyone grabbed a body part and went through the door. Dan accidentally hit his knee on the side of the wall. He mouthed a scream and swore. "SHHHH" All of us said. Dan flipped us off with his remaining hand and we continued to his room. Y/N came out of her room. Oh shit. I snapped my fingers and the rest of the guys hid Ethan. "Mark? Oh hey, didn't hear you come in!" She had some cleaning shit in her hands. "Y-Yeah. Uh.. N-Need help with that?" I pointed at her arms. She nodded and I helped her take it to the bathroom. I looked back and forced my head back a bit, telling them to go upstairs. They ran upstairs and I heard the door shut quietly. Y/N turned her head but I forced it back. "Uhhh, You okay, Mark?" She laughed a bit. I nodded quickly.

I ran upstairs when she was cleaning and slammed the door. "Is he awake yet?" I stopped before my next sentence to see Ethan sitting in his chair, and everyone sitting down. "Now, tell me." He said. His voice sounded forced. "She's being hunted down." Ethan sat up in his chair. "By who??" "We have no idea. We think it might be government because of the evil personas, but we aren't sure." Ethan tugged at his hair. "You're gonna help me protect her right?" He asked. We all nodded. "We wont let ya down buddy." Sean said. He hugged us all and we went downstairs. "U-Uhh, Y/N?" Ethan yelled. She came running out of the kitchen wearing gloves. "Hey, sorry, I was cleaning. What'd you need?" She asked, her voice sounding innocent. "S-Since we have extra rooms, can they stay with us for a while when they're in town for... Vid~Con?" She smiled. "Yeah! Sure, i'd love to have em as company." Y/N said. We all smiled and ran to our rooms. God, I'm scared for whats going after her, Ethan cares about her, I want that idiot of a blue bean to be happy. He's been treated like shit from his other girlfriends, I don't want that to happen again. She cant die, shes the perfect one for him. She deserves him, He deserves her.

Ethan HAS to get with her, No matter what.
