Five: Ela Cries

Gab's POV

Ela's walking alone. I'll go to her.

"Uy." I said.

"Yeah?"

"Bakit malungkot ka?"

"Ha? Ako? Hindi ah. Wala."

"Defensive." I sighed. "Halata tuloy."

I was surprised when she cried. She covered her face with her hands. I held her shoulders and faced her to me.

"Hey. What's wrong?"

She looked at me and she hugged me.

"Si Jake... He... He..." Then she just bursted into tears.

"Hey." I got out of the hugged and touched her face. "Hey. Look at me. Look to my eyes." I said. She did what I told her but she was still crying alot. Then I hugged her. "It's okay. Okay lang yan. Ano ba talagang nangyari?"

She didn't stop crying so I just lead her to the seats. "Hey,Ela. Anong nangyari?"

"Kasi si Jake...." Then she cried more and I comforted her and hugged her.

"Bakit ba talaga? Anong nangyari?"

"Eh kasi..."

Then nakita ko si West.

"Oh. Ayan naman pala si Kuya mo eh." I told her.

"Hindi niya ako pwede makita. Halika na. Alis na tayo." Then she wiped her tears and stood up. We went to the hangout place of our barkada since no one will see us there.

"What is it really?" I asked.

She finally stopped crying. "Kasi.."

"What?"

"Kasi nilapitan ko siya tapos sabi niya wag ko na daw siya kausapin."

"Ha? Oh. Ay bakit ka naiyak?"

"Masama ba?"

"Hindi naman ah. Pero sobrang affected ka ay si Jake lang yun."

"Di ko nga alam kung bakit eh. Ay hindi naman ako ganito."

"Wag mong sabihin--"

"Ano nanaman iniisip mo?"

"Wala."

"Hindi ko siya gusto."

"Edi sino?"

Di nalang siya sumagot.

"Bahala ka diyan."

"Aa naman eh." Then she covered her face and cried.

I sat down beside her on the grass. Then I hugged her. "Problema mo? Masyado kang emotional ngayon ah."

"Ewan ko."

"Canceled nanaman daw ang classes eh. Okay lang yan."

"Okay."

"Kailan mo ako sasagutin?"

"Ha? Kailangan pa ba yun? Kala ko tayo na eh."

"Ha?"

"Ayaw mo?" She replied sarcastically.

"Ang sarcastic mo masyado."

"Ayaw mo pala eh."

"Huy!!! Madaya!!! Gusto ko eh!"

"Sige."

We were still hugging and I liked the feeling.

"Hey."

She didn't answer.

"Hey." I repeated.

She still didn't answer. She was asleep.

I kissed her head.
