He's getting off his bike. Do I follow him again?
The thought is only in my head for 0.5 seconds before I am getting off my own bike and following him back to the tree. I only just sit down before he opens his soft, kissable mouth and starts talking.
"About last week, I really like you Ashley. I have for a while now, but I was worried you wouldn't feel the same way"
Of course I feel the same way. I've liked you for ages.
That's what I'm trying to say
"Yes"
Did I seriously just say "yes"? Come on! Pull it together Ashley!
"You..... Do... Feel the same way then?"
I try again, harder this time, to get the right words to come out of my mouth.
"James, I've liked you for ages too. I just didn't want to say anything because I was too scared of being rejected."
One point for me
"I would never reject you!.... But now that that's out of the way.... Did you tell Courtney and Lavender about last week?"
I should have.
"No. I was going to ask you if I could today."
He stops to think for a second.
"Yeah ok. Just make sure that it doesn't spread. I don't know about you, but I don't really think it's the whole schools business."
"Agreed"
They better not tell anyone.
