Visenya ran through the halls of the Red Keep. Her little brother Viserys was somewhere hidden in the castle. He wanted to play Hide 'n' Seek, a game the old maid in the kitchen had shown him. Visenya was frustrated. She already was looking for her brother quite a time. After she had looked in the fiftieth chamber, she decided to return to the other direction. When she passed the other hallway she suddenly bumped into another person and fell to the floor. Visenya raised her head and looked in the violet eyes of her brother. Unlike him she was born with golden eyes, very unlikely for a Targaryan, but it's the different things that make us special, her mother used to say.

"Rhaeger!", Visenya shouted and grinned. "Stormy as always, little sister?", he laught and helped her up. "Just trying to find our dear little brother." she replayed. "You are not playing that stupid game again, aren't you?" "What do you think? Viserys is obsessed with it. But cursing the old maid in the kitchen won't help, I tried it." Visenya mumbled and Rhaeger grinned. "Better make sure, you'll find him quickly. You are expected in the Throne Room, remember?" Visenya looked up "Oh yeah, the new announcements of the court, right?" "Oh dear little sister, you are as clumsy as always." Rhaeger laught "Today is the selection of the new knights of the Kingsguard." Visenya looked at him in shock "That was today?" Rhaeger continued grinning. "Yep, so find Viserys and don't come too late, your septer wouldn't appreciate to give you another lesson about punctuality." Rhaeger passed on and mumbled with a grin "If I was you I would look in the kitchens." And so he left his sister with an open gape behind. Visenya shook her head and made her way to the kitchen. "Why didn't I figure that out?"

After she entered the kitchen Visenya saw her brother immediately. He sat on the old maids lap and listened to the old storys the maid was telling him. "Viserys, found you!" Visenya shouted to her brother. "Vis!" her little brother replayed and ran in the arms of his bigger sister. "Old Helene told me about the tales of Dunk and Egg." "He is a good listener and a brave little boy." The old maid stroked his hair and Viserys grinned proudly. Visenya smiled at her little brother and took his hand. "Now hurry Viserys, we are expected in the Throne Room." Viserys eyes began to sparkle. He loved the Throne Room, with all his golden statues and the dragon banners along the big windows. But most of all he loved the Iron Throne at the end of the room. He always imagend himself sitting on the Throne and ruling the seven Kingdoms of Westeros, just like his father does. Unfortunately this privilege belonged to his older brother Rhaeger.
Visenya guided the two of them to the Throne Room. After a time they arrived at the big wooden doors. "Ok, Viserys. We are a little late, but we are Targaryans, so we do it like we practiced." Viserys nodded "Head up, shoulders straight and always a proud look!" he breathed and did as he said. Visenya smirked at her brother and did the same before she opened the big wooden doors, not knowing that this was the beginning of something big.
