Song of the day: Bite My Tongue - You Me At Six

~Oliver~

I woke up to warm arms wrapped around me. I looked down and saw Ronnie sound asleep. She looked so peaceful. I quickly recapped the heated events that took place last night. I smiled to myself at the thought of them.

My phone vibrated in my pants pocket that were located on the floor across the room. I quietly removed myself from Ronnie's grip, trying not to wake her. I picked up my phone and exited her room.

"Hello?" I whispered.

"Oli? Mate, where are you? We had band practice this morning!" Matt said on the other line. I looked at the time. 10:45. Shit. I just now realized that we didn't even get a chance to perform at Emily's party last night. I guess now we had a chance to tweak it if there's any mistakes. "Ok, I'm on my way." I said before hanging up the phone.

I went back in Ronnie's room and she was beginning to wake up. "Oli?" she said, her voice still thick with sleep. I grabbed my shirt and my shoes. "Hey, I have to go to band practice but I'll call you later ok?" I told her. She nodded her head and laid back down.

"I love you." I said pressing my lips on her forehead. "I love you too." She whispered and with that, she drifted back to sleep.

I ran down the stairs and threw my shirt on. I put on my shoes, picked up my jacket and walked across the street to my house. We like to practice in my basement since it's pretty spacious down there. We usually practice in my garage but it's freezing.

I walked into my house and went straight to my basement. Lee and the Matt Kean were tuning their guitars while Matt N and Curtis were talking in a corner. I made my way over to them.

"Hey." I mumbled.

"Where were you? When we walked in, no one was home." Matt said. I shrugged my shoulders. Should I tell them I slept at Ronnie's house? I decided not to. They already knew I was in love with her, they don't need to know details. Yet.

"I went for a walk." I lied. Hopefully they'll get off my back. Curtis narrowed his eyes at me. The look on his face said "bullshit".

"Well where did you go after Ronnie left the party? Did you leave with her?" he said. I nodded.

"She was kinda my ride. She dropped me off at my house but I went to check up on her." There was no way in hell I was telling them I slept with her. I'm not ready to break that news to them just yet.

After we practiced, Curtis pulled me aside to a corner. He had his arms folded over his chest.

"So how long?" He asked. I furrowed my eyebrows at his question. "How long what?"

"How long have you been in love with her?" his voice, serious. I looked at my feet and fiddled with my fingers.

"I'm not sure. I can't exactly calculate my feelings. And mate, listen... I'm sorry. I know you had feelings for her." He shook his head and chuckled lightly. Not exactly the reaction I was looking for.

"Don't even worry about it. And don't ever apologize for how you feel. Love is unexpected and it isn't your fault." We quickly hugged and headed up my stairs into my kitchen to grab some food.

"You mind telling Maya what you told me?" I asked Curtis. He opened a bag of chips and poured some in a bowl. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, tell her that it isn't mine or Ronnie's fault about how we feel about each other. We can't control our feelings." Curtis nodded and sat on my couch along with Lee. They began watching American Horror Story.
