We came to an area to the underground base. That had rooms like are cells, I thought that I was going to be put in one but I wasn't. It was a labyrinth just to get to one room. Envy open a door to what looked like a small room. I walked in following Envy then pointed to me then to a door that was a little way in the back. I walked in to the room and saw it was a bathroom. It was a lot better than the hotel that I was staying at. I looked over to see Envy glaring at me then the bathroom.
"I get the hint," I said walking in the bathroom.
I heard the door close with a locked as I started the water to the shower. Envy must had locked the door so I wouldn't escape. I slipped out of my muddy clothes and let the water wash the mud out of my hair. The warm water felt nice after being in the cold mud. Once I was clean of mud, I dried off and changing into a tang top with short shorts. I only wear them after I take a shower. I sit on the bed with my long dark-warm brown hair down.
I started to brush my hair when my mother's ring rolled under the bed. I sighed getting on the floor to get it, but it was all the way to the wall. I couldn't get my arm to reach it. Why did I ever take that ring off the chain I had it on. I stand up to see Envy in the doorway watching me.
"What. Haven't seen a girl try to get a ring from under the bed," I said standing up, "When you asked me about if the person that saved me was good. They didn't just save me from death. They saved me from my foster family."
"They saved you from your foster family? What is that," he asked sitting at the table in the room.
"It is a family that cares for you when you don't have a family," I said laying on my side with my back to him on the bed.
"Oh. And you needed saving from them?"
"Yes," I pulled my shirt up to show the scars they left me on my back, "They were monsters."
"Woah," Envy looked away, "That's...weird."
"Do you think that I can still work at the bakery shop for a little while," I asked sitting up, "I just need some money for some new things. I won't run away."
"I'll be watching you though. If you try to run away, I will stop you at any cost," his eyes were on me and not letting go.
"Stupid! I have no money, no family, no home to go to. Where would I be able to run away."
"I'm not stupid! You're stupid," He glares at me. I went to stand up but my leg gave out and hit my head on the floor, "Hey! You should be careful, idiot! I don't need you getting hurt," he smacks my head lightly.
"Leave me alone. The last thing I have of my mother just rolled under that bed," I get up, "Excuse me. I need to use the restroom."
I could feel Envy watching me as I walk to the bathroom. When I closed the door, I could hear the bed being moved then back. Envy mutter something about stupid and left the room again. I came out to see the ring on the bed. Envy had got it for me. I sat on the bed getting the chain necklace out of my bag. I just put the ring on the chain when Envy came back with food and set it on the table.
"Eat," he ordered.
"Thank you for the food," I said struggling to put the necklace on, "I'll eat after I get this on."
"You eat now," Envy grabs the necklace out of my hands then quickly put it on me.
"Thanks," I said walking to the table and start to eat the food, "Are you going to eat?"
"No. I don't need food. Now eat."
"Oh," I went back to eating and when I was finished I got my tray and headed to the door.
