------Chapter 1: Banryu------

Strange things happen every day to everyone. Kalel and her 3 friends, Rosaline, Angelique, and Jaclyn, are no different. Forced to go on this class field trip to Japan, the group boredly walked around the Japanese museum. As they were turning out the voice of their class's private guide, all of a sudden Kalel hears a voice calling her. She looked around but noticed no one but the guide speaking as she began to feel creeped out.

"Come here child, come to me." She ignored it but it only continued to call for her.

"Ange, do you hear that creepy voice?" Kalel asked

"Huh? Kalel what are you talking about?" Angelique said raising a curious brow.

"There is a creepy voice telling me to go to it..." trailed Kalel as she began to feel a bit paranoid. She continued to hear this strange voice all through out the first half of the tour and it was beginning to drive her crazy.

She ended up following this voice thinking that no one saw her leave the group as they ate lunch, but she couldn't hide from her friends who trailed close behind her quietly. A few moments passed and Kalel came to the Feudal Era exhibit and her legs carried her to the display without her consent. She read the sign as it stated 'The weapons of the feared mercenary group the Shichinintai or also known as the Band of Seven'. She studied the great halberd that was broken in 3 separate pieces spread on top of a purple cloth, then proceeded to read the description card in front of it.

'This is the halberd Banryu which means "Barbaric Dragon". It was used by the leader of the Shichinintai, Bankotsu. It is said that the sword was a valued treasure and proof that Lord Nanaki's army was the one to execute the Band of Seven. But he was later invaded by a Northern Lord, Sho, and Lord Sho felt the halberd was cursed by the angry soul of Bankotsu. So he had it destroyed and sealed away, along with the rest of the weapons used by the Shichinintai to further calm their souls as well.'

"So this is where you snuck off to Kal." stated Rosaline, startling Kalel.

"Hey don't give me a heart attack Rosie I wanna live ya know." Kalel huffed at her chuckling friends.

"Whatcha lookin' at anyway?" asked Angelique as she walked closer to Kalel.

"This giant sword, I feel like it is calling me but I'm not sure. I feel paranoid saying this out loud now that I think about it." Kalel sighed

Her friends looked at the display case as well reading the descriptions of each weapon.

" 'This goard was used by Renkotsu of the Band of Seven, he was famously known as being a pyromaniac using fire to burn his victims alive. It is also said he was second in command.' Geez sounds like a charmer huh?" stated Rosaline

" 'Jakotsuo, the sword that bends like a snake. Is said to be used by Jakotsu of the Band of Seven. He would use this sword to cut his opponents and if he found a male he thought was handsome, he would cut them up until they would beg of him to hold him. Then he would behead them.' Oh wow..." Angelique stated while holding her neck.

" 'These are the claws used by Suikotsu. He is the member who suffered from a split personality disorder. One half a good physician the other a bloodlust murderer. He prefered close combat so he could slash at his victims.' Hm split personalities that's quite interesting." Jaclyn stated while rubbing her chin.

Just then the girls were surrounded by a bright purple light, so bright they had to shut their eyes.

"Uh guys... what just happened?" Rosaline asked nervously as she was the first to open her eyes once the light disappeared.
