Chapter 2: Found

Sierra's POV
I wake up and hear a creepy sounding whisper in my ear.
Random Guy: Hey babygirl what's your name.
Sierra: Ew what the hell get off me you perv!
He leans in and try's to kiss me but someone pulls him back. He falls to the floor and some guy kicks him in the balls and punches him in the nose.

The guy looks around 22. He turn around and makes eye contact with me. The guy sits beside me.

Guy: Are you ok? Did he hurt you any?

He put his hand on my shoulder and I move it away.

Sierra: Yes and no. And don't touch me. How do I know your not a creep like that guy?

Guy: Why would I save your ass from that perv if I was like him? By the way my name is Brendan and why are you up here by yourself sleeping on a bench?

Sierra: I ran away from my mom and siblings. I'd rather not say anything else. But I have to go catch a flight. It was nice meeting you Brendan.

I try leaving but Brendan grabbed my arm. Then he turned me around so I faced him.

Brendan: I'm not letting you leave with barley any money or supplies to survive. You need a place to stay. Would you consider living with me? I know you think I sound really creepy right now but-

Before Brendan can finish, it's starts to rain. He takes off his hoodie and gives it to me.

Sierra: I can't take this it's raining. And I'll be fine on my own. Trust me. Ok?
Brendan: No you take it. You could at least stay with me until it stops raining. And then you can be on your way. Is that fair?
Sierra: Yeah I guess. But only tonight.

We walk down the path and go to his car. The car was really big for just him. But then I see 2 other people in the front and passenger seat.

Brendan: Just letting you know I'm with 2 of my friends.Logan, he's the tall one with blonde hair and Evan is the short one with brown hair.

I just nod my head as we both get in the back of the car. Logan and Evan both give Brendan and me the " Who the hell is that" look.

Brendan: Well this is really awkward for you guys. Boys this is Sierra and let me explain why there is a random girl in the car. So while you were walking back to the car she was on the bench sleeping. A random man came up to her and tried to kiss her. I could tell she didn't want him, so I went over to him and dragged him to the ground and beat him up. She had ran away from home and was about to fly across the country with nowhere to go. So I said I would let her stay with me tonight.
Logan: Yo Brendan. Your a freaking great guy. That guy could of beat you up but you risked your life for someone you didn't even know.  

Logan dropped us off at Brendan's house and he headed to his apartment.
Sierra: Where am I going to sleep at?
Brendan: Your gonna sleep in my room and I'll sleep on the couch.
Sierra: No I'll be fine on the couch you sleep in your room it's your house.
Brendan: No you sleep in my room your the guest. You've been through a hard time. You deserve it.

Brendan was just like the dad I never had. I wish I didn't have to leave this place now. I would really miss him.
Brendan: You can stay here as long as you want. And I would miss you too. Your just like my own child.

I just go up to him and hug him as tight as I can. I could really get used to this.
