The Phone Call

Tom grabbed his phone, he dialled his hoped-to-be lover's number. "Hello?" Came Daniel's voice.
"Potter," Tom said, smiling.
"Ha, Malfoy," Daniel said playfully. Tom's heart swelled. 
"How are you and Erin?" Tom asked, knowing that his, so-could-be lover was taken away.

"Oh, you know, talking by online. We haven't seen each other much."

"She still taller than you?"
Daniel laughed "yeah. Still is."
"Yeah, and I was taller than you in the Harry Potter films." Tom chuckled.
"My dyspraxia is fine by the way."
"Good," Tom said, he rubbed the back of his neck "look, Dan... I was thinking maybe we can meet up soon?"
"Yeah, mate, like that's gonna happen!" Daniel said sarcastically.

"What do you mean?" Tom said, a little disappointed.
"I mean I'm in London. You?"
"Um...New York..."

 There was a silence between them. Tom gave a sigh "well, bye,- Potter," Tom smiled.
"See you... Malfoy."

The phone hung up. Tom sighed and put it down. He laid on the red couch staring at the ceiling.
"Why...Why does it have to be like this?" He turned to see the picture of him and Daniel.

His phone buzzed, hoping it was from Daniel but it was from Matt.
"Matt?" Tom asked, pressing the phone to his ear.
"Hey, mate!" Matthew cried.

"Um, what's up?"
"So, Dan just called me..."
"He did?"
"More like tweeted me." 
"About what?"

"Great news! He's coming to New York for a Premiere, in two weeks."
"That's great!"Tom exclaimed.
"God, I miss you, Tom."

Tom chuckled "yeah, me too. I miss everyone."

"I saw your T-shirts with Rupert. Pretty good friends you are."
"Yeah..."
"Listen, bud, don't have too much fun with Dan. Okay?"
"What do you mean?"
"Oh, you know...You couldn't take your eyes off him during our 10 years at Warner Brothers." 

Tom chuckled "oh shut it. Listen um, Jade is coming over soon so, see you."
"See you, mate!"

The phone hung up. Tom looked at the clock. "Twenty minutes until she comes," Tom mumbled, he looked around. He took a deep breath.

His phone buzzed again, he looked at who was calling. "Jade?"
"Hi, babe."
"Uhm...hi?"

"I can't come tonight."
"Why?"
"Family dinner."
"Okay, um sure."
"So we going to Radcliffe's premiere in two weeks?"
"I guess."
"Aw, I know you'd never shut up about him."

Tom rolled his eyes. "Well, see you then."
"See you, Tom."

He hung up the phone. How many phone calls is he getting?

He decided to go to bed early. As laid in bed he thought about the Premiere. 

PREMIERE...

"Hello everyone, I am here at the New York Premiere of Swiss Army Man, here with Daniel Radcliffe!" said the reporter, Sam.
"Hi," said Daniel.

"Now, Daniel how do you think your audience will react?"

"I mean it's a fun...exciting movie that's very twisted. Definitely."
"How do you feel about playing a corpse."

Daniel took a breath and smiled "I mean...It's a great role. It's very funny, yes um... I mean I did play a corpse for the last Potter movie only for a few minutes but not for like 2 hours so um yeah."
"And did you know Tom Felton and Jade Olivia are here today?"
"Um, I was expecting celebrities but like- not them."

"Also is it true that Woman in Black is also showing tomorrow?"

"Yes. Yes."
"You're here with Erin, right?"
"I mean, sure."

Tom and Jade were followed by paparazzi users every time they turn, signing autographs and posters.

"Tom!" Daniel called.
He spun around, "hey!"
They hugged. And smiled at each other.

"I was starting to think you wouldn't come," Daniel said, he turned to Jade "hi, Jade."

"Dan, nice to see you again."
Daniel leaned closer to her "by the way, Tom can style his hair however he damn wants. Better run before Drarry shippers come after you."

Jade chuckled "yeah, yeah, like that's going to happen."

Daniel smiled at him, Tom smiled back. 

"Thanks, for coming."
"No problem- Potter."
