Chapter 3

Shadows pov

"Shibuya, you may have been hired because your office is close by, but the principal said it seemed like a scam to have a child as its manager." Monk said
"Did he?" Shibuya asked. "The principal makes too much of this, calling so many of us out to this run-down old school." Ayako said. "Maybe there's something bad here?" I asked looking at the old school in thought. "Yep. All they needed was me." Monk says. "My, i wouldnt be So sure." Ayako argues. "Ah, thank goodness. The old schoolhouse is a nest of evil spirits, and I didn't know what I could do." Kuroda  said exaggerating with lies. "Kuroda-san." Mai mumbled. "I'm very spiritually sensitive, so I've really been tormented by-" Kuroda is interrupted by ayako "You grandstander. You just want to make yourself conspicuous. Is this how badly  you want people to pay attention to you?" I walk up to shibuya and whisper "im sorry to ask but what does conspicuous mean?" Shibuya turns around and answers "conspicuous mean "standing out as to be clearly visible." I then say "oh, thanks" and went to stand next to mai. I listen back to the conversation/argument "im only tell the truth. This girl has no spiritual sensitivity and is only looking for attention." Ayako explains. "You dont mean..." mai questioned.i see Kuroda get mad, so i left and went to look at the cameras in the base. I walk by the doors just to hear the principal walking up to the group and i listen to what there saying but then look around and think 'seems like everyone forgotten about me...'. I start listening to the group "hello everyone, i have someone to help u with the haunted old school house. Meet john brown." The Principal said. John spoke some bad Japanese instead of saying the right one he said "hows tricks. My name is john brown and i came from Australia. I hope u treat a stranger kindly."everyone starts laughing. The principal starts talking "uh, you see, brown-san seems to have learned his Japanese down in the kansai area." Monk started laughing and saying in a joking manner"I'm busting a gut!" And Ayako asked while laughing if he was a spiritualist too. "Yes. Im what you'd call an exorcist." John answered. Ayako and monk look at john with a shocked glare. "Your not suppose to be able to drive out evil spirits." Shibuya says and then he adds "unless your a catholic priest or better. Your pretty young for that." "You know your stuff. You're right, I'm 19 years old. I can't help but look young." I walked back in to the base.
"An exorcist, an apostate priest, and a ghost hunter? To call in this many people, the principal must not believe that i can do this, huh?" Ayako hmph "just you watch! I'll clean this run-down schoolhouse by myself!" Ayako leaves. "Im going to work on my own, too" monk says then leaves. "Um, can i..." john starts but is interrupted by Shibuya. "You can go do whatever you want" he says to john. "No, i mean, let me work with you." John defends. Then we hear Ayako scream, i slowly followed, i turned around and saw a shadow go by, then thought nothing of it and went to Ayako. She was locked in a closet with monk trying to get her out. "I'm kicking it in! Stand back, Ayako!" Monk screams through the door. "Don't you drop name-honorifics with me!" Ayako faintly screams.
Monk kicks the door.
