Chapter 2: mai is the assistant!!

I take my pocky out as soon as the bell rings.
"Mai, are you leaving now?" Keiko asks.
"We're supposed to tell ghost stories with that cute guy remember?" Michiru reminds mai.
"Not me." Mai states
"Come on mai please!" Keiko begs
"This is our chance to tell ghost stories with a senior" michiru adds
"Did you say ghost stories" someone says
"Is that what you do after school every day" kuroda adds " no wonder i had this headache for so long, im very in tuned with spirits, when they gather in groups i get headaches"
"So your blaming us for that?" Mai asks.
Keiko and Michiru shift to look at mai
"Of course i do" Kuroda points out "when you tell one of your little ghost stories, you summon low level spirits and they attract stronger spirits, than we're in big trouble, when your entertaining yourselves with ghost stories, your putting me at risk!" she exclaimed.
"Tell me" they look to see kazuya "if your sensitive to spirits like you claim, do you sense anything in the old school house?" Kazuya asks
Mai sighs
"Omg!, kazuya came to find us" Michiru and Keiko say at the same time blushing.
"Hold on, are you the one that put these girls up to telling ridiculous ghost stories?" Kuroda asks. 'Wow its like watching a drama on tv' i think watching people say words back and forth eating pocky.
"You didn't answer my question, could it be that your psychic abilities are made up?" Kazuya asks
"For your information, there are numerous spirits that have died in the war that died in the old school house, infact im sure they used the old school house as a hospital during the war, ive seen too many injured spirits in there" kuroda explains.
"Hmmm" kazuya 'awwww i ate my last pocky' I thought sadly looking into my pocky box
"I wasn't informed of a hospital being here during the war, i know the school was built way before the war so maybe it was a medical school?" Kazuya explains/asks.
"Look i dont know,but i really do see spirits, your not psychic so you wouldn't understand" kuroda says angry.
" sorry kazuya, can we do this another time" keiko asks
"Yeah,im not really in the mood either" Michiru says sadly.
"Oh, perhaps another time than" kazuya says " oh and mai, would you mind coming with me for a moment and bring your friend, shadow too" kazuya says
Michiru and Keiko look at mai jealous.
"Where is shadow anyways?" Keiko asks
"Here" i say
"Ah"mai, Keiko and Michiru screams
Mai and i follow kazuya out.
"Hows your friend doing?" Mai asks
"Yes, about that, he suffered a sprain to his left leg, but im afraid he wont be walking for awhile" kazuya explains
"Gosh, can you please tell him im sorry?" Mai asks " so what were you two doing there anyways?" Mai adds
"Working" kazuya says plainly
"Working?" i say quietly tilting my head
"Oh i get it, your working for him, are you like is assistant or something?" Mai asks
"No, not quite, he the assistant and im the boss" kazuya points out stopping to look at us.
Mai gasps " now my assistant is dtuck in bed, I believe its up to you to take his place." Kazuya explains
"Ok, hey now, hold on just a minute" mai screams
"Our camera is broken, he tried to stop you from touching the camera and now its in several pieces" kazuya says madly
"Well, cant i just buy you a new one or something" Mai asks screaming
"Its quite expensive" kazuya points out
"Oh, than i dont know what to do" mai says loudly
"You cant pay me the worth of the damage equipment so, to work of the pay your going to be my assistant" kazuya says
"Assistant?" I muttered
"Assistant, you seriously think I should start working for you?" Asks loudly, again.
"Well, its what i said" kazuya points out
"What do you do at your job" mai questions suspiciously
"I hunt ghosts" kazuya said
"Huh?" Mai questions
"In other word i excersize spirits, ghost, at my company shibuya psychic research, i was hired to investigate the old school house" kazuya explains
"Psychic research?" Mai questions
"Is that a question" kazuya says annoyed
"Psychic research is a another term for spiritual investigations, we basically examine excrucianize of supernatural phenomenon"  kazuya explains than turns around to look at us adding "and i run the company"
Mai looks shocked a looked at her.
"Pfft" i giggle quietly

Kazuya opens the van door and takes equipment out when mai says "oh man" shocked about all the equipment than kazuya starts talking "one week ago your principal contacted my company"
