Y/n's POV

~~~~~~
"Y/n." Lauren said crawling over the couch to answer the door. She was excited for the party. Parties were her thing, like almost to an extreme. However, as serious as she took it, they were a lot of fun. "Hello."
"Hey." Alycia said stepping inside. "I thought it started at 4."
"That was when I was supposed to be ready." I said, patting the empty spot on the couch next to me. "Lauren wanted to wait until 5:30 and decided to tell me when I was freaking the fuck out about it being 3:50."
"Oh." Alycia said and I smiled. "Well, we can hang out."
"Yeah, have you met my step yet?" I asked and Lauren smiled politely. "This is Lauren, she's my stepsister."
"Oh, nice to meet you." Alycia said and Lauren shook her hand, immediately putting on a charming smile.
"Nice to meet you too." Lauren said before going to the kitchen briefly. We put on a movie while Lauren ran in and out of the kitchen, finishing dinner. It was done at 5:15, when everybody else really started showing up.
"Wow, this place looks really nice." Richard said, his arm around Bob. "It's definitely different than I'd expect from you."
"Probably because I'm not the person who decorated this place." I said before pointing at Lauren who was currently talking with Marie and Eliza about something. "She decided she had decorating rights to my apartment."
"Ahem, our apartment, I live her now." Lauren yelled from across the room. Dinner went smoothly, Lauren's cooking abilities impressing everybody. The conversations were all over the place and I found myself being pulling from each one into a new one.
"You seem stressed." Alycia said and I nodded. "Not used to so many people?"
"Yeah, I guess." I said and Alycia placed a hand on my leg. "Excited for the movie?"
"Of course, so far good things have come from it." Alycia said and you smiled. "We start filming in a couple of months."
"Oh, guess I'll be getting paid soon." I said and Alycia moved her hand up a bit. The rest of the dinner went nicely, Richard and Bob leaving earlier than everybody else. Lindsey and Marie eventually got out, but not after playing what may be considered the world's most intense game of Dance Central against Lauren and I. Eliza helped clean up and then split, leaving Alycia, Lauren, and myself alone.
"Ladies, I need some sleep." Lauren said and I nodded, letting her go. "It was great meeting you Alycia, you seem good for this little loser."
"Fuck off." I said and Lauren ran off to her room before anybody could say anything. Alycia giggled and I smiled at her. "How's life treating you?"
"Alright I guess." Alycia said and I smiled. "What about you?"
"Better lately." I said and she gave me a look. "Seriously, my skin is clearer, my mood swings haven't been nearly as bad, the nightmares are almost gone, and my crops are flourishing."
"Crops?" Alycia asked and I got out the digital farm I kept on my laptop. "Ah, because of course you're a digital farmer."
"Lauren's a bit coin owner and I'm a digital farmer, nothing weird about us at all." I joked and Alycia leaned her head against me shoulder. "You tired?"
"Kind of, I should probably get home." Alycia said and I shrugged.
"You could stay over, my couch folds out and Lauren probably paid the WiFi so I've got Netflix." I said and Alycia leaned back. "You can borrow some of my old pajamas."
"I mean, you're really pulling my chain, I guess I'll stay." Alycia said and I smiled before running to grab her a clean pair of pajamas. She changed in the kitchen and then came back, looking absolutely adorable.
"Ugh, beautiful." I said and she blushed. "What do you wanna watch?"
"Surprise me." Alycia said and I went to the last thing I'd watched, Blue is the Warmest Color.
