Ever since a young age, you had a strange fascination with the undead creatures known as vampires. Many people had different views, and you found it interesting to see all the unique powers and abilities the powerful creatures were given. Historically they were said to be creatures of the night, burning when coming into contact with daylight. One person came up with the idea of them gaining daylight rings, which allowed them to stay outside. And another person gave them the power to glitter in the sun, this one being your least favourite charm given to the creatures.

Despite some of the different representations not agreeing with your taste, you still gave credit to the creativity of the people that came up with the ideas. Of course, you had always loved the traditional powers of vampires too. Super speed, super-human strength, not having to sleep and so on. Even the idea of only drinking blood caught your interest, not in a weird way or anything like that. You just found it interesting that they could survive solely on that fluid, not needing to eat or drink anything else. They can basically drink for free while the rest of humanity has to pay money in order to live a healthy and happy life. Vampires were fascinating creatures that you could only dream and hope of meeting.

But it seemed as if someone heard your pleas. Because they were suddenly brought into your world.

It all started when a group of people suddenly disappeared. The people were returned the next day by vampires. Luckily these people weren't killed and only a small amount of blood was taken. The vampires introduced themselves as being pure-bloods, the most powerful vampires. They were born from pure vampire parents, giving them more power and more abilities compared to regular vampires.

Pure-bloods are considered to be at the top of the food chain, the highest class. Below them are middle class vampires. These vampires hide within human society and must live as if they were regular people; they work normal jobs and lead normal lives. At the bottom are the dirt-blooded, vampires that can be considered even less than humans. They are given terrible treatment by the higher vampires and are forced to live in abandoned neighborhoods, alleys, poor towns/cities and sometimes in sewers. But they're treated that way for a reason; simply being that they don't care about humans at all and would easily snap a person's neck if given the chance. They also have the least amount of control when it comes to feeding, so the pure-bloods must keep them in line.

Aside from the pure-bloods, the other vampire classes never show their faces. With the dirt-blooded it's more understandable, as they are only permitted by the pure-bloods to come out at night. Rumors say that most of them are actually held captive in dungeons under pure-blood homes. With this reason in mind, it would make sense not to see them. But even middle class vampires aren't seen. It causes suspicion between everyone, as you never know who could secretly be an undead blood-sucker.

When the pure-bloods first appeared, they had asked that humans worship and respect them as the most powerful beings on earth. In exchange, they would try to protect them from those posing any threat and they would control their feedings. They promised that innocents wouldn't be fed on and only those who offered themselves up would have their blood taken. You were hardly dazed when seeing all the people that gave themselves up. You assumed many were also vampire-crazed fans like yourself. Masochists also came to your mind; they would probably like the whole idea of being bitten and whatnot. Although you've never actually heard how it felt to be fed from, so you weren't even sure if it hurt.

Humans agreed to the terms offered by the vampires, but it wasn't exactly a two-sided agreement. Many were opposed to the idea of treating vampires highly and tried to fight back. That didn't end well; the vampires just threatened that they would feed from anyone, possibly draining more blood then necessary from some unlucky people. That shut up most of the people and they reluctantly accepted the deal with the pure-bloods.

With that, the pure-bloods spread out to live in various countries and cities. More populated countries had more pure-bloods then others, but it seemed that every country had at least one in it or close by. It also seemed that the more pure-bloods that were around, the more middle class and dirt-blooded there were. But again, they were never seen so it was hard to say for sure.

Each pure-blood has their own expensive piece of property they live in. Some are more extravagant with their homes, but in the end they all have extremely fancy and large lots. People that have a pure-blood living in the town/city can actually enter the house if given permission. Some are more open to the idea of allowing humans in while others hate the idea and close themselves off.

And how lucky are you to live in a town that has a pure-blood.

You have only ever seen him in photos or on T.V., but you can clearly tell that he is very attractive. But this wasn't very surprising as every pure-blood seems to be blessed with good looks.

His name is Park Jimin. He has silver hair, pale and flawless skin, dark eyes, full and kissable lips, and a great sense of fashion if you do say so yourself. In practically every photo of him he is in various suits and other fancy get-ups, it makes you wonder what he looks like in regular clothes. The only downside about Park Jimin is that he is, sadly, apart of the pure-bloods that don't allow many humans in his home. The only exceptions are the humans that offer to be fed on and a few people that are of higher status than the rest of the city folk, such as big company owners.

As much as you hate to admit it, there is almost no chance of you getting to meet him personally.

You thought about becoming a blood-bag for him many times, but your family wouldn't have any of that. Unlike you, your parents despise the vampires and their existence. On more than one occasion you were referred to as a disgrace and a freak.

The rest of your family also views you in a negative way, and most of your friends ended up abandoning you. That upset you more than anything else. Your "friends" had known about your interest beforehand and never thought much about it, often letting you fantasize and talk about your feelings for the undead creatures. But once the vampires showed up, they distanced themselves and cut ties with you as if you were the reason they showed up.

Only one person remained in contact with you; Merric. He was the only one that seemed to somewhat understand your love for the vampires. He, too, was interested in supernatural beings, but he seemed to dislike vampires for some reason. He had always told you that they just screamed "bad", "cunning", "dangerous" and so on. Despite that though, he respected your interest in them and didn't judge you for it.

He was also against the idea of you offering up your blood for Park Jimin. He kept telling you how stupid you were and how you would get yourself killed, also throwing in that your life was too good to be wasted for such nastiness. Sometimes Merric reminded you of a mother, with all his nagging and scolding. Nonetheless, you loved the man. You just had a hard time agreeing with his opinions, along with everyone else's.

Which was why you finally decided that you would go against them and follow your heart.

You knew it was risky, and that there was a low chance you would get picked to be a blood-offerer anyways, but you'd never know unless you tried. You made up your mind to go register and apply for the opportunity, not telling anyone about your true intentions. You knew Merric would miss you, but it's not like anyone else would.

The night before your life would take a drastic turn, you only had dreams of Park Jimin; of the man that held your interest.
