Chapter 30

You followed Jimin as he led you through the party crowd and back to where the other guys were waiting.

"You're not going to torture Taehyung, are you?" you asked Jimin.

"No, but I'm going to punch him again," Jimin responded. You pulled on Jimin's arm to stop him from walking.

"Jimin, you're going to bust his face open," you said worriedly. "I understand that you're mad but don't overdo it."

"He deserves it. Besides, he's a vampire; he'll live," Jimin replied nonchalantly, continuing on his way with you following behind him.

Eventually you could see the other guys all standing around Taehyung, deep in conversation. Jimin noticeably picked up speed and you felt your stomach drop, assuming the worst was going to happen. After shouldering his way through the crowd,  Jimin raised a fist as he neared the other members.

"I'd suggest you all move out of the way," he warned them. The guys turned around and you watched as their expressions all grew shocked or terrified.

In the blink of an eye, Hoseok was over with Jungkook holding Jimin back as Namjoon stood in front of Taehyung defensively, with Yoongi and Seokjin standing behind Taehyung with wary looks.

"Jimin listen to us, Taehyung didn't do—," Hoseok started.

"I know," Jimin cut in. The others all gave strange looks and Hoseok and Jungkook stopped fighting against Jimin.

"Why do you look like you're going to send Taehyung to hell then?" Jungkook asked.

"Just because he didn't do it doesn't mean I'm not mad at him. I almost had a heart attack when I saw him on (Y/n), so I've just got to let out my frustration real quick," Jimin replied.

The other guys all began nodding their heads as if they completely understood Jimin. Hoseok and Jungkook both stepped away from Jimin to make room and Namjoon moved away from Taehyung, leaving him out and exposed. The blonde gave a nervous smile as Jimin approached him much like how a tiger stalks its prey.

"H-Hey Jimin. I'd just like to remind you of that one time where I—," Taehyung began but was cut off by Jimin's fist making contact with his face.

You let out a gasp as Taehyung was sent straight to the ground, and you were surprised he didn't break through the floor with the amount of force behind that blow. Taehyung let out a pained whimper as he covered his face and rolled into the fetal position. The others all stared down at Taehyung with no sympathy as Jimin stepped back from the man writhing in pain.

"Try something like that again and you'll regret every decision you've ever made in life," Jimin threatened.

"I like my nose as it is, so I'd prefer if you didn't give me a nose job," Taehyung cried out in a muffled voice. Jungkook snickered, which Hoseok hit him for, and Seokjin rolled his eyes.

"You're the one that decided to mess with him," Yoongi pointed out. Namjoon nodded in agreement but leaned down to give Taehyung a hand anyways.

"Try not to be so reckless," Namjoon suggested as he heaved Taehyung to his feet.

The blonde pouted at the others before staring at you and giving a suggestive smirk.

"You two were gone pretty long, did my plan work? Or did something even better happen?" Taehyung asked as he wiped at his bloody nose. Jimin cracked his knuckles next to you and Taehyung looked like he was preparing to immigrate to China.

"Yes, your plan worked. Nothing else happened though," you said as you stared at your shoes, feeling embarrassed that the others probably knew what happened while you and Jimin had left.
