Epilogue

"So, how's your baby?" Soomi asked.

"He has a name," you replied, making Soomi purse her lips.

"Okay, that was awesome and unnecessary," she deadpanned. "Anyways, don't you call him stuff like that though? Baby, I mean?"

"Jimin is good enough," you said with a shrug. Soomi pouted and leaned her elbow against the table, resting her chin in her palm.

"You aren't romantic at all," she mumbled.

"I prefer saying his name, it sounds nicer than "baby"," you said as you leaned back in your seat, which was across from the black-haired girl.

"Does he call you any pet names?" Soomi asked.

"It's only happened a few times, and it's usually in bed," you replied. Soomi's eyes widened and a perverted smile formed on her face. You realized how questionable your last statement was and wanted to slam your head against the table.

"Oh? What kind of names are we talking about here?" Soomi asked, wiggling her eyebrows and winking at you.

"Get your mind out of the gutter," you told her playfully. "I didn't mean it like that. I meant that he's called me a few names while we were just laying in bed or when we get up the next morning."

"I need a vampire that'll sleep with me even though he doesn't need to," Soomi said with a dreamy expression.

"Yeah, I've told him before that he doesn't need to. He could go and do some work or something else instead, but he says he doesn't want to leave me alone. He's told me multiple times before that he's fine with it, but I still can't help but worry that he wakes up in the middle of the night, wanting to do something else," you said.

"Okay, but you guys have only been doing this for a few weeks—since your accident. I'm sure if he changes his mind he'll tell you, no need to panic about it. Just wait a little longer to see if he says something or starts acting differently, and if not then you don't need to fret," Soomi reassured.

"Yeah, I should calm down," you said.

"Agreed."

"When's Miori coming again?" you asked.

"Who knows, I sure as hell don't,"'Soomi said, shrugging. "Should be soon, though."

"You'd think after spending so many years together you'd know her a bit better," you teased.

"On the contrary, I know her so well that I know she has unpredictable timing," Soomi defended. You gave her a skeptical look.

"You sure?" you questioned, trying not to smirk.

"Are you okay?" Soomi asked with a scrunched up face. You smiled before stretching your arms out on the table and resting your chin against the hard surface.

"I'm just playing with you," you said, voice lightly muffled.

"Since you asked me about Miori, do you know when Jimin's coming home?" Soomi questioned.

"He said around three, so he should be home in a little while," you responded.

"Are you going to tackle him and have sex?" Soomi asked with a grin. You raised a brow at her and gave an unimpressed look. "What? You haven't seen him in four days, so I thought you'd want to be a bit more affectionate with him."

"Okay, but the sex isn't really needed," you replied, straightening yourself up and leaning forward in your chair. "We'll probably just relax in the bedroom or something."
