23) Love is in the Air (9 Months 19 Days)
With a roaring screech, the train stopped at the London station. I quickly stood up; Coley continued to coo in his pram, looking at everything around him as though he’d never seen anything so brilliant.
The train station was filled with people, all different; all dressed in different styled clothing. That was one of the best things about London; the types of people have such a wide range.
Sat at the side of the train tracks was a man who was busking with a guitar, he was actually pretty good and I couldn’t help but give him a couple of pounds.
‘Thank you, God bless,’ he called after me. I just gave him a quick smile before scurrying on my way.
Everyone covered the platform, I had to ram Coley’s pram into a couple of people’s ankles whilst trying to escape from this death trap; if I was claustrophobic I’d be screwed.
Jackson was waiting for Coley and I outside of the train station and I was pretty desperate to reach him. As soon as the doors of the elevator opened, I hopped in along with another woman and her pram. I stared down at Coley whilst trying to avoid the awkward conversation which would probably arise.
Jackson was staring at the opposite door to the one which I walked through. He was searching for me whilst checking his phone ever so often. I decided to take the chance to make him jump.
Quickly, I pushed Coley around the groups of people who were just speaking in the middle of the pavement; they couldn’t have been any more inconvenient.
I let Coley’s pram go just passed Jackson as I squealed in his ear; I actually got the reaction I had hoped for and I’m not going to like, I was quite proud of myself.
Jackson panted loudly as he turned to me, his hand on his chest. ‘Isabella, you jerk, I thought I was about to get mugged,’ Jackson mumbled as he tried to regain his breath.
‘I could still mug you, I’m pretty good at that,’ I laughed as I rested my arms on the handle of Coley’s pram.
Jackson let out a sarcastic laugh, ‘you...good at mugging someone? You’d have more chance running on water,’ Jackson stated.
‘I could probably do that as well,’ I joked as I looked down at Coley who was struggling to stuff his foot into his mouth.
Jackson saw where I was looking and he moved his gaze down to him as well. ‘Coley, check how big you’ve gotten,’ Jackson smiled as he bent down to Coley’s level; now we were being those annoying people who blocked up the middle of the pavement.
‘Three months and he’s going to be one,’ I stated as I continued to stare at Jackson and Coley.
‘I know, I don’t even know what I should buy him,’ Jackson pointed out as he stood up again. Coley didn’t seem too bothered about Jackson; he was more interested in the taste of his own foot.
‘He’s a baby, Jackson, I’m sure he’ll be fine with just a drink bottle or a sock,’ I admitted; all Coley wants to do at this stage is put things in his mouth. He could have all the toys in the world and he’d still be satisfied with a chewed up teddy bear.
‘Still, I want to spoil the kid,’ Jackson mumbled as he walked over to me. ‘Anyway, how have you been?’ he questioned as he put his hands on my shoulders.
‘I’ve been good, I’ve actually been really busy recently; my mum’s getting pretty cosy with her lover-boy,’ I smirked; it was true, Toby’s been spending so much time at our recently and I’m starting to get pretty bored of him. I think Alejandro appreciates having a man in the house though.
