I just yelled at President Snow, one of the few people that decides if Katniss dies today or lives a peaceful. I can't believe I would do such a thing to someone of his status. I run to the nearest elevator and when I am inside I smash the button that reads '12'. The elevator quickly rises to the twelfth floor I sprinted to my bedroom and flopped in my bed. I begin to sob uncontrollably; I start to think 'I would have never done that when I was young'

"Just give it to me Sinclair!" yelled Nathan; he was my only friend. I know he is talking to me because I am also his only friend. I look down in my hands holding my little fabric doll. It was made by my mother while she was dying;it was probably the last thing she held in her cold dead hands. I yelled "Nathan, you know that I would not let go of this for the world!" He had said that since 4 years ago when my mother died. At first I thought he was just being a bully like everyone else in district 12, soon I realized it was just his way of trying to make me feel better. Nowadays it is our greeting to each other, since he knows I always carry it with me. When he sees my sober face his joyful smile turns into a sad frown. "Did they bully you on the way here?" He says. I respond with a slow nod. We both know who it is; Billy Gatsby and his gang of oafs he lugs around. "Sinclair, you know that if you just yell 'Nathan' and I will be there in a hot second and beat Bill to the ground!" We both start to laugh. We both know he could not hurt a fly.
