Tom’s p.o.v

"Mate, what the fuck?" I moaned as I woke up to see me cuddling him like a girl.

"Dont ask me, you were the one with your leg draped over me" Jay laughed at the situation, typical of him, he was so laid back. I wasn't a morning person.

"What are you even doing in Maddie's bed?" I managed a laugh as I rubbed my eyes to try and wake myself up.

"Well after putting you two to bed in a drunken mess, I realised I didn't know where to sleep, the floors full of boxes so I shoved you two up to that side of the bed, and I slept this side of the bed..." Jay trailed off, he was obviously thinking of something.

"Sorry mate, I should have told you there was a spare bedroom" I said as I hid under the duvet again, I couldn't face a hangover just yet.

"Tom you twat, I had to put up with you trying to sleep with Maddie all night" Jay teased me as he opened the blinds fully, indicating for me to get up.

"You what?" I said loudly as I turned to look at him.

"Come on Maddie, Jay wont hear us, just give me a kiss Maddie" Jay said failing to do a impression of me.

"Piss off bird, what did Maddie say?" I laughed at how rough his sleep must have been.

"She was dead to the world, dont worry I would have stopped you if you tried to shag a sleeping girl" Jay cackled as he looked at the bedroom window onto the street.

"Yeah, even by my standards, thats creepy" I laughed, slowly placing my feet on the cold wood floor, any sudden movements might have resulted in me vomiting.

"Come on, lets go downstairs" I said ushering him out the room, I needed food.

"Hey" Jay waved geekily at Maddie as she flicked the kettle on.

"Morning, I've made you both breakfast" Maddie smiled as she placed three plates down on the kitchen island in the middle of the kitchen.

"Thanks babe" I smiled happily as I began to tuck into the sausages and bacon.

"Thanks Maddie" Jay echoed as he sat down. Their was a comfortable silence sorrounding us as we all began to eat, a full fry up was the perfect cure for any hangover.

"Is that all you're eating Jay?" Maddie finally spoke, she looked concerned at the lack of food Jay had eat.

"Maddie, sorry, I'm a vegeterian" Jay said apologetically, bless him, he'd eat all the eggs but he was only pretending to eat the rest.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I'll make you more eggs" she said in a fluster, getting up and starting the oven again.

"Sooo, care to tell us why I woke up cuddling Jay this morning?" I said changing the subject, her lips twitched as she tried to suppress a smile.

"Bit gay?" She replied cheekily.

"Because according to Jay, he shoved us up to the other side of the bed, and he slept on the edge" I said trying to look for a sign on her face that would give her away.

"Well clearly I wasn't enough for you Parker" she flashed me a smile as she handed Jay a plate full of eggs and toast.

"You're going to pay for it" I warned her as I began to wash up for her.

Maddie's p.o.v

Tom and Jay had gone back to Tom's house a few hours ago but I really wish they hadn't. I needed Tom's advice. I'd just had a call from my university telling me they'd overbooked on student accomodation, meaning I wasn't on the Campus that I wanted. I was going to have to live on the oldest campus which wasn't very nice and I really didn't want to pay money to live there. I'd visited it on one of the open days and prayed to God I wouldn't have to live on it, it was really scruffy and they were knocking it down the following year, I couldn't live there for a whole year whilst the majority of students would be living in the new modern new builds. After feeling sorry for myself I decided to go round to Tom's, the university needed my decision by the end of the day and I wanted to see if he could think of any other options for me.

"Jay what, what are you doing?" I said in astonishment as I opened Tom's front door.

"Sticking skittles to my shoes" he shrugged his shoulders like it was regular, normal thing to do. I stood there for a few seconds looking at this weird man before laughing to myself as I made my way into the kitchen.

"God Maddie you cant keep away from me can you" Tom winked as he jumped up to sit on the kitchen counter.

"Shutup this is serious for once" I laughed before continuing "Basically the student accomodation people have double booked rooms, so they want me to live in the shitty part, but still pay nearly the same amount of money"

"Come on Mads, how bad can it be?" he said trying to help me out.

"It's so bad they're knocking the whole building down next year" I said bluntly. Tom looked back at me blankly, I was coming to the wrong person for advice, Tom could live anywhere, aslong as it had food. I just couldn't live in a place I knew I was going to hate, I was leaving my home and my town for the first time alone, and I needed my home comforts. I knew I was being ridiculous but I couldn't hold back a single tear that began to slide down my cheek.

"Maddie, come here" Tom said genuinley as soon as he realised I was upset. I walked over to him and he pulled me into a hug, because he was sat on the kitchen counter I was the perfect height to rest my head on his stoumach. He wrapped his strong arms around my body and pulled me closer.

"I'm sorry, I'm not even really crying about the accomodation, it's just..." I trailed off not wanting to finish my sentence, not wanting to sound like a baby.

"What is it?" Tom said resting his head on top of mine.

"Well I dont feel ready to go to university anymore, I don't want to grow up Tom, I don't want things to change" I said selfishly.

"Listen to me, you are ready to go to university, we all have to grow up Maddie, but nothing will change because I'm going to be growing up with you, together" Tom shushed me.

"I dont want to stop being friends Tom" I admitted, I knew we were both moving to London, but London was a big place.

"We wont, and if you really dont want to live their, move in with us" Tom said holding me at arms length so I could see his excitement.

"What?" I asked him, rubbing the tears away from my face.

"We have a spare room, it's about twenty minutes away from your university, and this way we will never lose contact" Tom said pulling me into a hug again before I even had a chance to reply.

"Sharing with five boys?" I laughed into his chest.

"Yeah, it will be exactly like living on a student campus" Tom laughed, he was probably right.

"And besides, your mine, they wont bother you" Tom said punching my arm to let me know he was joking about him "owning" me.

"Well I cant promise Nath wont bother you" Jay said from the doorway obviously over hearing our conversation.
