Buddies

Beginning

        All that was there was darkness. A black abyss that I couldn't escape from or leave... ever. Until one day, all of a sudden my mind became clouded with memories of a boy with blonde hair and green clothing, next thing I know; I'm standing next to another girl who looked just like me except her clothes were white and mine were neon yellow. On the other side of her stood four boys, one in green, red, blue, and purple. They all looked the same, similar to the the girl in white, and myself; but I had cat ears and the other girl had black wolf ears and a white tail.

I took a closer look at the boy in green and realized that he looked just like the one in my memory. "Oh my gosh-" I began before cutting myself off realizing I had a sword in my hand, "is this a sword?! Oh my gosh! No way! Am I allowed to fight things?!" I asked getting way over excited and fangirling like a psychopath as I swung my sword around like an idiot girl.

Then all of a sudden a hand from the girl with white sleeves snatched the sword from my hand, "you pleb!" She yelled while she had done so.

"Oi! What does that mean?!" I responded.

"It means you're a peasant!" She snapped as she looked at me with her crazed eyes.

"Pfft. I knew that! I was just testing your knowledge!" I retorted rather angrily. "Give me back my sword! You don't need two!" I commanded to her. She looked to be etching something into her own sword with mine.

"Learn how to use this thing!" She said as she held my sword out to me to give it back finally, "don't swing it maniacally!" She blew on her sword getting rid of any exes metal shavings to reveal the word, "kindness".

"What did you do that for?" I asked her as she smiled down at her handy work. "Oh this? Why this, my dear friend, is so I can kill people with kindness." she bowed mockingly.

"Why?!" I asked her with my eyes slightly wide, "why would you want to do that?"

"Why are there six of us?" The Link in red asked, "I thought it was called the Four Sword."

"Yeah," blue Link began, "and why are two of us girls?!"

"It is kinda strange seeing six of my faces and... and two of them being girls." Green Link said.

"Maybe there was a problem." The one in purple stated.

"Well having six of us means it's six times the awesomeness!" The one in red yelled optimistically. "Together we can save Zelda easily!"

All four Links cheered, "yeah," but I just raised my sword in the air with a smile.

Just then a whoosh noise was created by swirling wind that danced at the pedestal where the 'Six' Sword was drawn from. It got all of our attention before we all heard a loud noise and then a huge rock like monster sprung up from the floor. The over-sized monster had what appeared to be limbs on him, so he was obviously alive.

"Free..." He said with his rocky voice. Get it? It's a pun... "I'm finally free, how many centuries has it been?"

"Sorry, I know you just got back," the violet colored Link stated with a calm voice, "but we have to put you away again." He said and he held out his sword in front of him.

"Guess we really did break the Four Swords seal!" the one dressed in blue yelled.

I watched as the green one jumped and attacked, cutting off the monster's arm, but unfortunately for us, his arm grew back. "Whoa!" I said in pure amazement, "you have to teach us that move!" I held my sword at my side as I watched the amazing monster in awe. The creature simply laughed.

"What if we cut off all four limbs at once?" Violet boy offered.

"Good idea, I was just thinking about it myself!" The blue one said like a cocky dip shiz. "Besides, there's four of us guys, so why don't we make the ladies watch us manly men do our thing?"

"Right, 'cause that's how you smooth talk a girl!" I stated sarcastically and rolled my eyes, the white one finally reacted. "I'll tell you what they're not made of. 'boyfriend material'." The blue one looked a little mad at the comeback right in the middle of the fight. I cut off any sort of confrontation.

"Come on... er..." I looked at the girl in white and hesitated thinking of what to call her, "Pure-Chan! Let's show these arrogant boys that girls can take care of themselves!" Yup, I decided I was going to call her Pure-Chan, you know... because white is a pure colour. It's not like we even have names anyway though... besides Link. I don't know about Pure-Chan, but I'm not going to let myself be called by Link, so I wasn't going to call her Link either.

"Ah ah ah, thats Ivory to you, you pleb. Thats Ivory to all of you!" she made sure the boys got the memo before dashing surprisingly fast between the legs of the monster and spinning effectively severing the limbs before I took action myself. with a mighty fangirl cry I shouted, "yeah! Lets show the boys how its done!" despite not knowing that much about swordplay, I did pretty good by taking off the other two limbs, leaving the boys in awe.

I chuckled when we were finished and the monster had vanished. "That wasn't so bad!" I said with a smile. We all began to walk away as I got behind Ivory and tripped Blue causing him to stumble. I made it look like it was Pure-Chan's fault though and then laughed a little.

Then, blue pointed an accusing finger at ivory. "What the heck is wrong with you?!" She only gave him a deadpan expression before smiling. "Woah now, getting a bit big for our britches arent we? Haha, get it, it's funny cause im calling you short." He got up in her face practically fuming. "DO YOU THINK JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE TALLER THAN ME THAT MAKES YOU BETTER THAN ME?!" Ivory was at least a head taller than all of them, including me, "whaaaaat? Naaaaaah. Why would i ever think something as silly as that? I mean, it's not like it's my size that has to worry about being threatened," the other Links covered their mouths with muffled 'ooooooh's.
