(I feel like im gonna make this darker than necessary.)
Ivory's P.O.V.
I had spent what felt like hours sitting up in that tree. Ugh, I can't even think about trees without barfing at the unhealthy amount of puns I just got done spewing. Haha, I still got it.
I opened my eyes to see that I was in fact, not in a tree. Instead, I or more rather my body was in the heat of combat with a rather large hinox by the looks of it. Was I still dreaming? If I was, then this is a weird dream because Shadow is fighting with me and seeming to enjoy it.
My body struck the final blow standing atop the hinox as it fell in a heap. Well that was...unsettling. I've killed hinox before, but something about this one was most definitely off. It was an enemy for sure, but why would I be picking fights with random hinox?
"You're pretty good. Go back to the mirror, I'll let you know when I have something more challenging for you." Despite my obvious not wanting to have doing that (yeah thats english), I walked past a lot of other monsters that I would normally be fighting. Though they looked at me cautiously, they let me pass without a fuss till I came to a large mirror. What caught me by surprise was the sight of Vio propped against one side of said mirror. When he saw me he darted a look also of caution towards me that I caught and proceeded to stand rigid on the other side of said mirror.
Vio exited the room, leaving me with the big silver object (are you calling me fat? Ha, its funny cause I wrote it). No matter how hard I tried to move, I just wouldn't budge. Well, I guess i'll just stand here and reflect.
If this is a dream, I'd like to wake up now. ... Damn.
I can't even pinch myself either. Lets see, how did I get to this point? I'm probably gonna have to do some reverse engineering for this. The last thing I remember was trees, trees have leaves, leaves provide shade, Shadow is shady, Shadow has something to do with this mirror, this mirror is one sided, my love for blue is one sided, blue is really cute, cuccos are cute, cuccos are evil, OH GOD IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN. CUCCOS HAVE TAKEN OVER THE WORLD. NO NOT AGAIN!
Wait, no, that doesn't make sense. That other thing hasn't happened.
Yet. Let's hope it doesn't and forget I even mentioned that. Mentioned what? Exactly.
(Epic backstory foreshadowing, dun dun duuuuuuun. HaHa no it isn't. Or is it? Nope, forget about it. There's nothing to forget about. SHUT UP!)
~Mel's POV~
I'm cold. Very cold. "Okay Mel, cheer up! Think on the bright side! You still have your life!" I paused realizing I was talking out loud before mumbling softly to myself, "great, now you're talking in third person and out loud. Man, you really need to get your friends back. Wait, friends? What friends? Geez... I think I'm going crazy." I then smacked myself in my forehead, but like an idiot, I hit it way too hard and yelped.
After what felt like an eternity of walking, I decided to use my brain and walk towards Death Mountain. I sighed heavily feeling angered and abandoned. "Those jerks," I muttered nearing the towering mountain of sudden death! "Someone has to save Hyrule, so I guess I'll do all the work!" Man, I wish Ivory was here so she could crack a pun and make me laugh. Oh well, seeing as how we're all main characters, we have to meet up again at some point! Right? RIGHT?! RIGHT NINTENDO?! ANSWER ME FOR THE LOVE OF ZANZA AND LADY MEY MEY I NEED TO HEAR SOMEONE'S VOICE BESIDES MINE! MY VOICE IS SO ANNOYING! I'M MORE ANNOYING THEN ASHIA! (I bet very few of you will notice all of those references...)
Miles had passed. Days and nights passed as well. Maybe a few years had even passed and still, I made hardly any progress. Eventually a whole decade had passed. No progress was being made, and the mountain seemed to be getting bigger and bigger. I guess if it gets bigger I'm getting closer but still. Ugh! Yes I'm being over dramatic but get over it! Rarity is over dramatic 99% of the time and you don't yell at her!
So after about an hour, for real, had passed I saw someone who looked oddly familiar. A blonde boy in a green tunic and green hat ran toward me. "YelMel? Is that you?" He asked with a shocked expression.
"Green?" I inquired. I smiled and ran up to him, "I thought you guys abandoned me! I've been walking here trying to get up Death Mountain..." I informed.
"It is you!" He said. To my surprise he soundwd rather happy to see me. "I was worried. We didn't abandon you, why would we do that?"
"Because I thought you all hated me because I'm just the annoying comedic releif can't fight, good for nothing character in this story." I rambled looking away a little embarrassed.
"What?" He asked confused.
"Nevermind." I sighed, "where are the others?" I asked a bit concerned looking back at him and grabbing his shoulders, "Where is Ivory?!" I demanded.
"I'm not sure." He replied moving my hands off his shoulders. "Just calm down... we'd know if something bad happened to them... wouldn't we?"
"I mean, probably." I replied.
Then Green did something unexpected. He wrapped his arms around me in a hug. I thought I felt blush spread across my face for a second, but I pushed the feeling down. What is he trying to do? My heart belongs to Vio... "Sorry..." He said softly letting go, "I don't know why I did that. You're annoying..."
I glared before lightly pushing him back, "Well I don't need you. I can do this mission alone!" I yelled, but he rolled his eyes.
"Calm down Mel." Hold up... Did he just call me 'Mel?' He's finally understanding me! "I didn't really mean it! Let's go before we waist any time!"
//We both humbly apologize for the extremely slow update!! We hope you liked the chapter though and continue to read. Peace out plebs!
