domestic [ seungkwan + reader ]

He was peacefully watching TV as you were cooking dinner. Unfortunately, today, the day of the premiere of an episode of your favourite show, also happened to be the day when you had to do chores. But because you forced Seungkwan to do the chores when his favourite show was on by faking sickness (bad choice indeed), today was your turn to miss an episode.

As you were cutting up onions, you could faintly hear your boyfriend giggle, basically ignoring the television, watching you do your chores. It was quite pleasing too feel his loving gaze on you, but that didn't last long, due to him getting up and watching over to the kitchen counter.

"Having fun?" He asked playfully, his voice ringing like a bell in your ears.

You rolled your eyes, only to let out a small chuckle, "I would be having much more fun if a certian someone was helping me."

Seungkwan couldn't help but smile, "When did you say this episode aired?" He looked at you, noticing the immediate excitement emitting from your beautiful eyes, as well as the tears flowing down your cheeks.

"Oh my god- What's wrong?" He rushed over to your side, only to recieve a melodic laugh from you.

You wiped your tears with your sleeve, looking at your concerned and confused boyfriend. "Babe," You start, cupping his cheek lovingly, "It's just the onions."

You can almost feel the worry lift off his shoulders when he lets out a deep breath he has been holding in. "Oh..." You heard him mumble only for you to kiss his cheek.

"It's starting in 10 minutes." You said softly, receiving a large grin from him.

"Then what are we waiting for!? Let's put this away and order pizza!" Both of you let out a chuckle, before helping each other clean despite the time limit.

Seungkwan ordered the food,before sitting next to you on the couch. "So you won't make me miss my episode of drag race next time?"

You wrapped your arm around him, "Of course not."

He grinned, looking at you with the most amount of love he could show. "I love you." Seungkwan said gently, carefully watching the light blush appear on your face.

"I love you too." You said back, his face flushing into a pleasant rosy pink.

He reached towards the remote before turning on the show, right on time it to start.

The two of you pleasantly enjoyed the rest of the night, holding onto the other while eating pizza, occasionally laughing and smiling at each other.

To say the least, you're glad your husband loves you so much.

[i almost never see X Reader fics where the reader's gender or personality is vague enough for most people to relate so i just had to make this.

this was a quick writing warm up for my other seventeen fic so please don't mind if there are any spelling or grammatical mistakes!
