Julian's P.O.V.

I had been looking forward to a peaceful night in front of the television for quite a while now. Things had been hectic ever since our little slip up with the heist, luckily they're starting to calm down now. The rest of the guys had retreated to their rooms rather early this evening and Anya, well she's fairly tame most of the time. That girl, I just couldn't seem to figure her out. She was a real piece of work. I hadn't expected her to adapt at all, but to my utter surprise she had, even Stuart had started talking to her, they were treating her like one of the guys. Strange enough I knew that I would never be able to see her as one of the guys, she was in a league of her own. I shook the rest of my thoughts out of my head and started flipping through the channels. I really didn't care what I watched as long as it was television and no one bothered me.
"Anything in particular you want to watch Dex?" Dexter gave a grunt to my question and I continued flipping through the channels until I landed on one with a Big Bang Theory marathon under way. I shrugged and tossed the remote onto the couch next to me.

Half way through the first episode I saw Anya out of the corner if my eye, skipping into the living room. If I hadn't been so caught up in Leonard and Sheldon's argument I might have found a skipping Anya strange. The next thing I knew she was on my lap straddling me.
"Anya what are you doing?" I asked bewildered, she was in my lap with a goofy grin plastered in her face.
"Why lick face?" She asked in a rather strange sounding voice. Before I could even comprehend what she had said she licked my left cheek, not in a seductive way as you would expect but more like a dog would lick it's owner out of excitement.
"Because love?" She asked again in a weird voice and licked my right cheek. "Because salty?" She licked my left cheek again and I let her, curious to see how this would play out and where she was headed.
"No! Because Datsun" she squealed and licked my nose. She hopped off of my lap and skipped to the kitchen. Chuckling under my breath I got up, Big Bang Theory long forgotten, and followed her. In the kitchen I found her rummaging through the cupboards, packing groceries in a shopping bag. She packed in the mayo, the leftover buns from our hotdog dinner, a packet of heart shaped sweets, two cans of soda and a cucumber. Taking the shopping bag she skipped back toward me where I was leaning against the doorframe. I made way for her and as she passed me I heard her singing something about going to visit granny. She skipped all the way back to the living room and sat down on the armrest of Dexter's armchair with her legs over his lap. She put down the shopping bag in his lap and to my greatest amazement Dexter let her be, he didn't throw her off or even made a move.
From where I was standing I could hear her speaking.
"Hello, Granny I've brought you some food." She started packing out the groceries on his lap. Dexter must really like this girl for not throwing her off, I smiled to myself. All of us had gotten a bit attached to her. In the mean time Anya had opened the packet of heart shaped sweets and was trying to feed one to Dexter.
"C'mon Granny you have to take your medicine."
Reluctantly Dexter opened his mouth and accepted the sweet. The next thing she did was squeal, grab Dexter's foot and pull it up until right under his nose.
"My Granny what big feet you have."
I couldn't seem to hold my laughter anymore. At this very moment I was really regretting not filming her. I was pretty sure Anya had gotten hold of one or two of Tristan's drugged brownies and in the morning when she woke up I would have loved to see her reaction to her escapades tonight.
"Granny you're a man." Anya shrieked and jumped off of the armchair, dropping the packet to sweets on the coffee table and they spilled everywhere.
Her eyes swiveled around to where I was standing.
"Purple unicorn!" She grabbed a handful of heart sweets and charged my way.
"Would you keep my hearts safe for me, purple unicorn?" She asked me.
For reasons unknown I got this warm feeling in my gut.
"For as long as I live." I took the sweets from her hand and she started to skip away.
Halfway to the door she stopped, turned back to me and tilted her head to the side.
"Wait a minute. You're no unicorn. Give me back my hearts." She held out her hand in a childish gesture.
"Never." Now in the mood for a little sports I stuffed the handful of sweets into my mouth.
Her eyes widened to the size of saucers, she wore the exact expression from that first day I had her tied to the chair and she charged at me, tackling me to the ground. Sitting on top of me, with a devilish grin she took her fingers and pressed down on my cheeks. I had no other option than to spit out the sweets. She picked up the sweets and made a dash for the stairs.

When I reached the stairs she was already halfway to the top. I took the first step when the doorbell rang.
"Jason get the door!" I shouted and continued my pursuit up the stairs.
Once on the top floor I looked around but couldn't find her. I only got to take three steps before she came hurdling towards the stairs again. I managed to grab her by the waist and put a hand over her mouth to stop her giggles so I could hear who had come to visit at such a late hour.
"I'd like a meeting with you lot!" A deep gruff voice echoed through the house.
O crap, it's the Boss. I looked down at the girl in my arms and then around me for a hiding spot. If he found Anya here he would most definitely kill her. Locating the hallway cupboard we kept our jackets in behind me I stuffed her in there and locked the door. I leaned against the door to catch my breath. Now all she had to do was keep relatively quiet. I could hear her talking from inside the closet.
"You know 7 minutes in heaven works best with two... Oe what is this? Cold. I wonder what would happen if I twitched the..."
My eyes widened remembering that Tristan rarely removed his gun from his inner jacket pocket. I fumbled with the lock and opened the door. I grabbed the gun from a surprised looking Anya and slammed it shut again.
"Julian! You too!" The Boss called from downstairs.
I reluctantly pushed myself off of the door and made my way down the stairs. Anya better stay quiet, I knew for a fact that I would go crazy if I got her killed. Heck, I would go crazy if anything had to happen to her. It's a rather strange feeling for me to have but it's there nonetheless.

Pushing any thought of Anya to the back of my mind I tried to focus on a more pressing matter. What was the Boss doing here?
